I finally grabbed a Xiaomi Sound Party as it’s often praised everywhere and wanted to convince myself if it’s really any decent. Let’s find out and also hear some of my upcoming AI music projects.

sony ult field 3 is not playing clean, you can especially hear the distortion in that dangerous romance track by steve nichol

Bought the Xiaomi Sound Party at a sale price of about 42 USD or 37 EUR. The bass boost is more of a situational use case as it makes the overall sound boomy and will be best used on music that lacks some bass. It can distort and struggle with bass boost and best to leave it with no bass boost as it makes the overall sound cleaner and balanced. Xiaomi was able to make it cheap as it doesnt have any app support for firmware or customizable eq. I also used samsung dual audio (multi bluetooth connection) and both the Boom 2 and sound party have little to no phasing at all
