I am actually quite surprised about the performance offered by this speaker here.

I will also try doing some measurements tonight to check what’s wrong.

Not sure if it makes sense to shoot another video with it.

PS: I am still in the process of working on the compensation of my microphones as the frequency response had changed lately therefore please apologise if the recording quality may still not be perfect.

I have the Xiaomi outdoor speaker. Also not imoressive, but might even sound better than this one. Needs lots of tweaking with custom EQ. Brrrr….

Holy cow will come any good new Speaker released ? its only piece of junk on the marked. I still sit with my Motion+ Sony xb 33 and Dockin D Fine.where are the new stuff i want to get shocked by a new good sounded Speaker hard to convince me... really horrible what happenen. JBL Flip 6 is there in November it will be again crap Mono shit. Junk marked... but we will have something to Laugh again with JBL

Onyx Studio 7… just unboxed it’s. Quite an improvement over the old models, one of the most impressive and euphoric speakers

The Flip 6 will have a seperate Tweeter! Hopefully it will sound clearer and not as sharp as the Xtreme 3...

The base drive must be faulty, I can't believe that it's so bad. I love strong treble, but this is ridiculous, it really hurts my ears even at half Volume. It really is not sparkling, it's an extreme peak screaming. Zurücksenden!

A Xiaomi speaker question. I am considering the purchase of a Xiaomi Squarebox 2 because of price and its minimalist modern form factor. In your Xiaomi Squarebox 2 versus Xiaomi Mi video of a few years ago, the Squarebox 2 seemed quite comparable to the Mi except for a noticeable lack of bass at lower listening levels due to lacking a DSP. Would simply using an equalizer app to boost bass below 300Hz make the Squarebox 2 and the Mi more similar/identical in sound? You once used an equalizer app to greatly improve the bass and overall sound of the Blitzwolf F1. Would doing something similar work on the Squarebox 2?

I don’t have the Squarebox anymore, thus I cannot try it out, sometimes speakers can distort even at low level if you start boosting bass. But I did stuff like that for the FoxL back then if I was listening at low levels, so it’s definitely a workaround but keep in mind that the bass will remain static, if you increase volume you will have to reduce bass at the same time.
