It's the first time I reached 1000 Patrons, so thanks to all for joining. Although it will drop again within some days, therefore also a big thanks to all those who continued to support me since the very beginning.

I finally got 3 different pairs of in-ear mics, which I am currently testing. I have closed ones as well as open ones, and the most promising ones are those with a centered capsule. They were all custom built and designed towards my wishes by Mad Economist. The soldering joints are more robust now than on my previous microphones which broke after some months of heavy use, so let's hope these will last for longer. I may order some other spare pairs of the centered ones just in case to always have a backup.

It will take a bit to create valid compensations for all of them and I hope my upcoming recordings will improve even more in quality and realism. If you are listening with an Earfun Free Pro 2 with the neutral tuning, you should get a very close representation of what I was recording. I will try to bring it even closer than before.

A great achievement I'm happy to read it. I'm really happy to have joined. Audio is my hobby and I'm learning to be more critical on audio equipment and tuning and this is a money saver as well. I'm impressed to get such a high end sound with the EarFun Free Pro 2 tuned by you. I have many other buds and nothing comes close to this high end sound. Thanks to you I'm getting this awareness that frequency response is the most important thing, not the marketing tricks and specs things like that. You have opened my eyes. I think it is good to think for ourselves and remain critical as well.

Cheers Oluv! Many years of honest, hard work paying off. I'm glad you stuck with your passion and values, and through all the criticism/hate. Hoping for more success to you. Much love.

Well deserved!

If you do a video called “How to find your ear canals’ resonant frequencies” you will get 10k.

It’s actually pretty straightforward just seeking for the loudest part

I agree with Ryan. Not all of us are knowledgeable on resonance and frequencies. Unfortunately, this means we don't always know what questions to ask. Even a simple step by step would be very helpful for us. Do we wear headphones or use a speaker? Does volume need to be at a specific level? Simple questions like these aren't so simple for some of us.

I explained everything in the start up guide. Of course you need to wear them to close your ear canal. Then play a sine tone increasing frequency slowly until it becomes loudest. Don’t listen at high levels as this may damage your hearing. I wouldn’t know what else to add. You may start sweeping quickly to discover the range first and then sweeping back and forth around the range which appears loudest to you. If everything is equal loudness you don’t need any tuning obviously, it should sound fine like that
