After the video I performed the firmware update for the Motion Boom, but the issues with disappearing bass still remained. Later in the evening before shooting another video there was also an update for the Motion Boom Plus shown which I did, but I didn't noitce any significant changes to before. More videos with the Motion Boom Plus coming soon....

Thanks for comparison! The old one has better highs then the new ones dedicated tweeter... Yesterday I tried to order a Boom Plus, but it was sold out on the homepage.

Potential is definetely there, if you fine tune it. According to Alan Ross Reviews die Motion Boom Plus plays louder than the boombox 2, i am curious...

i better wait for Oluvs reviews before i order it :D alan ross make really hard kid reviews feels like i watch an 14 year old youtuber. So these Video looks for me lol but i think he in person is cool.

lol when the older one have better highs than the new one with tweeter... than Anker do something really wrong... we will wait when Oluv fine tuned it i think there is some Hope inside. So long i wait for Buy it. and wait the Earfun uboom L to have finest sound as small speaker :)

Thanks for making a review! BUT before I decide which to buy, can you please try the Tribit Stormbox Blast? Hoping you release somewhat a final custom eq for the Motion Boom+ if ever I get to buy it over the tribit blast

My boom arrieved today...oluvs ears matched well with my ears. Factory tuning is weared. Strange highs und strange bass. I have to measured the boom plus.

Sound signature of the MotionBoomPlus reminds me a little bit of Dockin Dfine2 or something like that. Not bad, quite loud. Design wise it still is as ugly as the smaller MotionBoom. Maybe some adjustments can fix those issues regarding upper frequencies.

Got mine two days ago, spent a long time trying to tame the sibilance in the highs with the EQ. I bet it is just harshness in the design of the titanium tweeters which can ring when designed improperly. Definitely the Motion Plus does not exhibit this issue with the soft domes it has. It also has quite a hollow thud in the lower range, seems like the passive radiators are too small for the woofer size. I'm really on the fence deciding if I'm going to keep this one

i will compare both today outdoors. I think for indoor the deep bass below 80hz are to fat. And the ringing ist a big problem. My setting right now. 80hz -3, 150hz -2, 1,2khz -1, 2,5khz -4, 5khz -1
