IMO currently the best pocket sized speaker just compromised by its tuning, which is not bad but could definitely be improved.

Hi. Have you created your preferred sound setting for this speaker? I looked on your Patreon site but didn’t see anything.

I got the red tdk ... was a super little speaker back in the day.. has nfc which was great for small speaker.

And TWS, but this mostly compromised sound quality. Not always but mostly it sounded like a low Bitrate MP3 when playing in stereo, sometimes they paired flawlessly though. Must have been some early Bluetooth problem

Hast du auch Frequenzmessungen von der Stormbox micro 2? Wäre bestimmt auch interessant im Vergleich mit der 1 Stormbox.

I had the red A34 from TDK I think this was my first BTS. Unfortunately it had a quite strange battery safe mode: If I turned volume louder than ~60-70% the volume felt down to maybe ~ 10% and I had to restart the A34 again. Sound was impressive at the time.

Hab zwei Micro und zwei Micro 2. Wichtigste Verbesserung ist definitiv die Laufzeit! Wird der 2er eigentlich mit der neuen Firmware verkauft, die du zur Release-Zeit hier gepostet hattest? Klang auf leisen Stufen war nach dem Upgrade jedenfalls voller. Hab in der Größe noch paar andere Kandidaten, wobei am ehesten der Vifa City Spaß macht. Löst mit seinem Coax-Treiber extrem gut auf, kann aber den Tiefgang nicht so voll und tief wiedergeben wie der Micro. HK Neo ist im selben Format, hat aber bereits bei ~110 Hz roll off, darunter kommt nur mickriges "pok pok". Zum Vergessen...

Ich hab Kontrollmessungen gemacht, bin mir aber nicht sicher ob ich sie gespeichert habe. Auf jeden Fall misst sich die neue deutlich neutraler, wobei abseits der Achse verliert sie auch zu viel obere Höhen verglichen mit der alten, was man ja auch im Video hört.

What about the beoplay p2? Not talking about the price. Is is as refined as the p2?

No it’s far not as refined but I am pretty sure it could have been tuned to offer a similar smooth result if done properly. But all together I think the Tribit is a way more compelling package with much better bass and higher loudness and I simply love that mounting strap.

I still love my P2: only 275 grams, slip-in-the-pocket form factor, svelte looks, and pretty mature rich sound (with Oluv's eq setting) for low to mid level listening
