There will be a new firmware available for download at the Earfun site or I will upload it here when I am back from holidays. I still hope that all production units will sound similar to the 2 units I got as last which you can hear here in this video.

i saw at the end of the video, my apologies. don't like it too as i said before, 2 much upper bass even though the speaker won't sound deeper it will sound more balanced.

Fingers crossed that the production units of the UBOOM L will sound as good as this and all the previous videos suggest. It all just works: single/paired, indoor/outdoor mode, low/high volume... I really appreciate how thought is given for low level listening to enable enjoying music without terrorising the environment and also is probably really useful for midnight indoor listening etc.

To me the your tuning for Earfun U Boom L is by far the best sounding I've ever heard as its close to the Denon but has an outdoor mode that denon does not offer (makes the DSB250 sound drowned outdoors). Since the Denon DSB250 has been discontinued and it was too pricey as well. The U boom L is an affordable beast that I wont regret

The Uboom L sounds more airy and precise than the JBL, we can feel the sound better while being just as loud as the Charge 5. The charge 5 is also 200€ while the earfun is 75€ (60€ with discount code), so we have obviously a winner here. Just irdered my Uboom L and i can’t wait to get it

Maybe I will sound stupid, but. U Boom sounds very harsh in some points for me, Jbl has more warm sound. But, everyones years are different.

Did you try one on your own or just based on this video? I completely reworked the compensation for my microphones recently. My old compensation had way too much boost in the 7khz region making the recordings appear too harsh.

Unfortunetely I don't have the U-Boom, but. I have a Charge 5, and. It sounds very nice to me, maybe because it's allways staying on my desk. Under the monitor, so. Never putting on a verry high volume.. from the video. It was sounding sometimes a bit harsh, but. I'm not saying that Earfün is rubish!! I addmit that it sounds more open and a bit more clear maybe, but. As I have mentioned, don't have the Earfün speaker my self
