The UBOOM L did a great job during our holidays in all kinds of situations like shown here. I actually cannot complain about the performance and am quite satisfied with the final result.

have nice vacation! thats sound really good for that price point, really expected to get my unit and maybe order even another one after it. the job you did with the effp2 is so amazing that i'm really counting on your opinion. maybe you can do another fw that emphasis a bit more the bass as you did with the effp2.(which i increased even a bit more but the result is just WOW)

Mine had definitely way less bass. Like this it sounded too thin. Yours sounds perfect.

Good to hear, for me just 1 day and my new Uboom L left side speaker broke (sudden crackle like the film broke), i am only using at 80% (not max), now hoping for a replacement..

The motion boom+ has a new firmware(0.36) which is supposed to remove that harshness. I hope you will try it

I first had the same impression. But after a while, although I do not believe in breaking in speakers, my impression changed and I like the now better hearable bass of the uboom l after using it some time.

Right now listening to a Cuban playlist on Spotify while eating fish I just grilled with a nice glass of wine and the wife said that the music sounds like there's a band playing in the background. Sounds so damn nice. Haven't even updated the EQ.
