Thank you for another playlist, I'm really enjoying these. I have two questions that might have been answered before but I was unable to find them. 1. I'm planning to order the Earfun Uboom L from the EU link. Are there customs charges to consider (I'm from EU)? 2. Have you ever made a public EQ for the Sennhesier HD800? Something similar to your HD600 EQ, which I really enjoy. Thank you!

EU orders are shipped from the Amazon.de warehouse. There shouldn’t be any fees. I never made any EQ for the HD800. The change in sound you get with different positioning is simply way too extreme to be able to somehow “bake” this into an EQ. I personally like the HD800S without Eq if I place them properly which is not that easy to achieve though.

I really enjoyed your tunings for the Earfun Free Pro 2. I bought 2 pairs and I can't get enough of them. I was wondering if you had made an EQ for the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2. I just bought one, and I cant quite find the sound I'm looking for. I haven't updated the firmware yet, because I'm using a MacBook. I'm also curious what your top over the ear headphone recommend is? I'm currently trying decide between the Soundcore Life Q30s or the new Sennheiser Momentum 4. I hope you'll tune a pair of over the ear headphones like you did with the Earfun Free Pro 2s.

Ok, thank you for the info, I'll probably order it over the weekend. I just rewatched your "What if all headphones sounded the same...?" video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKrvAfMlAwk&ab_channel=oluv%27sgadgets) and you mention you've EQed all the headphones to a flat FR. Is there any chance you could share that EQ setting for the HD800S? The reason I'm asking is that since I got the HD800 (not S), I've been tinkering with EQ, mostly with Oratory settings but I just can't get the bass right (I don't mind the treble that much, except the peak around 6k). Ideally, I would like to achieve similar bass on my HD800 to your tuning of the Earfun Free Pro 2 (which is amazing!). Also, in the same video you EQ-ed the AKG N700NC which I also have but would like to EQ them aswell. Many thanks!

I didn’t EQ the headphone itself but the recorded output. I matched the captured wav file of all headphones to the original source. This convolution filter uses 8000 bands for precise frequency matching, it is not really possible to have that kind of precision in any EQ apps I know.

Unfortunately the user EQ for the Stormbox Micro won’t give you the same bass you usually get with the default EQ. You can improve treble and mids with the user EQ but you will never be able to achieve the same bass amount

I have the q30 and they kill everything else for being a wireless over the ear and cheap one. Forget other headphones except this and the free pro 2 :))
