at max volume I would leave it with eq turned off as you can achieve the max loudness, still sounds like an improvement compared to the Boombox 2, but it's wayy to expensive. Maybe when it will get down to like 350€ it's worth it

You can really tell the jbl is more powerful to produce that fat bass. And even their processing is excellent too. The only problem is their tuning.. sounds really thin to me and the real bass is missing only the lowest notes are more enhance. When it comes to signature sound, I prefer the sound signature of l-acoustics. If anyone can translate that to this kind of portable bluetooth speaker. That would be perfect for me.

If it wasn't so overpriced and didn't have this missing bass, I think it would be pretty nice.

$400 is more reasonable for the boombox now that the tribit sounds isn’t far off

i have tried it in person and i can tell that i like the tuning, i felt some pleasure to hear my playlist on this unit because it doesn’t have the weird 5khz highs of the Boombox 1 and the muddy sound of the Boombox 2 Overall this Boombox 3 is more precise and balanced than the old one and i think it can plays louder and more powerful But again it’s overpriced, 399€ would be acceptable.

Spending so much money, I would buy two Tribits. Definetely. But I do not need any Boombox at all. So you have to decide by your own… 😎

I got to say for the price difference, the tribit is the way to go because it doesn’t sounds much cheaper and it can even play louder with some tracks

Yeah,true.I am quite happy with my 2 motion+'s.They are loud enough for some party with friends and they also sound decent.
