I am sure many are eagerly waiting for my first impressions of the Partybox Encore. I shot a short public video with it which I would like to share already now with you.

new JBL Partyboxes (Encore, 110, 310, 710) have 3 band EQ in the Partybox app

Right now I'm not interested to any of the JBL consumer speaker. I waited for their Boombox 3 to come out but it didn't meet my expectations for a three way designed- in regards of tuning and improvements from the previous model. My hype right now is on Eon one compact or Eon one mk2 There so many possibilities with it's built-in DSP. A big improvement from their consumer division going to pro division.

yeah it definitely is; maybe at high volumes you can squeeze more bass out of it to compensate the reduction?

From where have you got it as I only see the encore essential,which is different

No this didn’t work for none JBL speaker so far. At maximum volume increasing bass doesn’t have any effect

JBL online store. Allegedly essential is a stripped down version with 40W less power and no caraoke function

The Encore is actually the best Partybox I tried so far, just battery seems to be a negative point

Ich weiß nicht ob es mir so geht, aber die letzten JBL Produkte für den Consumer sind vom Klang relativ neutral geworden, sodass man sich das anhören kann ohne wirklich großartigen überhöhung oder verfärbungen. Klar sind sie auch die teuersten Speaker auf dem Markt aber sie können sich hören lassen als die früheren Modelle. Ich hab das gefühl, dass sie nicht mehr viel von den anderen unterscheiden. Die Boombox 3 ist meiner Meinung nach viel zu teuer, für das was sie ist und kann. Dafür kann man für Zuhause ein wirklich schönes gebrauchtes Hifi System sich zusammenstellen ist aber wirklich nur meine Meinung. Oder wie siehst du das?

The encore is better and its also like a more powerful version of the onyx studio 7. Hope you compare with boombox 3 and stormbox blast. I thought you were about to say "I couldnt increase the volume otherwise my wife will come barging in to keep to volume down"

Yes, this! 6 hours of battery at "normal" volume probably wouldn't make it through a party, I get the feeling you'd end up with 2 hours of battery at higher levels.

hey Oluv sorry to open this topic again, a person that has the Encore told me that if you boost bass band to max you can actually get even more bass than the Partybox 100, and I wondered if you could actually try that having both
