Marshall Middleton - outdoor test (Patreon)

I was curious to finally try out the Middleton outdoors when the stormy weather calmed down that day and shot a longer video including the UBOOM L and the Soundcore Motion Boom. I was so shocked about the result that I decided to immediately shoot a shorter public video that you can see here. I didn’t manage to edit the other video in time, which I will hopefully finish next week.

even the jbl xtreme 3 which I don't like, is better than this. Also, most people won't laught at you with this result, because most of them don't know what a good sound "sounds" like.

Also, what am I hearing in there with Humanity and all those ncs music that you played. Was that compression? It sounds sooo bad I can't tell if it's the tuning, the bass or the compression. Look. At 11.30 it sounds broken. ike the drivers were loose or something

NCS is usually mastered very loud. A speaker cannot compress more without sounding weird, this is what Marshall is doing here.

Xtreme 3 is a very solid speaker, but just nothing really outstanding. If it was louder or bass was deeper, but I still think that the Helsinki with proper DSP processing could easily outperform it.

I should receive the Nuberts X3000 next week and want to prepare some thorough comparisons to the SP200 and SP500. I also have some headphones which I would like to review.

🥱 What an overpriced disappointing speaker. Sorry Marshall, but this device is not even worth 100 bucks. Maybe next try is better…
