This will be my upcoming public video which will definitely create lots of controversy with me as usual contradicting all other reviewers. But I think I prove my point with my sound demonstration at the beginning that this headphone sounds just wrong. I cannot understand why it gets hyped so much.

That’s also the reason why I lost interest in reviewing audiostuff as most products simply do not deliver any improvements in audio quality, instead they just sound different.

Meze 109 Pro - the real sound test

Hallo Oluv, wo finde ich die EQ Einstellungen zum HD 600 auf der Patreon Seite? Wurden sie überhaupt schon veröffentlicht? Welche Software wurde verwendet?

Great video! I would expect the controversy to be less than usual as you very clearly and professionally argued your points. Our frustration with all the snake oil and marketing in this industry will always remain but your tone was less defensive or combative. More like: if you like this headphone that's fine BUT here's what you're missing out on! Basically using all the frustration to drive you in educating people and keep doing this. I think this approach will work better even if I also love sassy Oluv calling himself 'some wanker' and arguing that other reviewers 'must be deaf' or 'get paid to say nice things about the products'. 😂

Thanks for the comparison. :-) The crunch in the treble of the 109 Pro was rather unpleasant, and the bass boost was a touch too thumpy for me. I really like my HD600 even stock, as I find its colouration to be rather pleasant. I was a bit disappointed by the Elex here, it just sounded oddly veiled to me compared to the HD600. Not too badly, but just enough that I didn't like the sound much.

Equalized 600 sounds most natural, Meze seems most detailed.

And once again you use that metal track. Could you perhaps finally reveal to me who the artist is?
