Sorry guys, I feel quite sick since last week and wasn't very active and although I had returned the Middleton in the meantime I still found this video which I had shot the same day I did the other public video, but this time with some "real" music and my latest compensation applied, thus audio should be cleaner and more realistic than from my previous videos.

I will try to catch up with all messages and comments I got lately.

a good competitor to the marshall would be a 2.1 minirig setup, although they are a bit more expensive. But they're just as small. Or no. A 1.1 setup.

Is there any chance for you to test the new Sonos speakers (era 300 and 100)? And maybe the sonos Move. I would like to know what is your opinion about them. Thank you.

The Move is horrid, I’ll wait for some first reports about the new ones. But I won’t be able to get them that soon. I don’t even if I manage to survive next month

Vlad M

Ok. Thanks

Vlad M

Then the new homepod is also to expensive….I wonder how it is. The first gen was bass heavy…

oluvsgadgets

I heard it in a store, sounded like the HomePod mini just with more bass. But treble was bad quality

Vlad M

Also…too expensive for a speaker for its size…

oluvsgadgets

The only one being really impressive at least in terms of bass and power was the Devialet Mania. I could imagine it to compete with much larger speakers but I didn’t like the overall sound that much.

Vlad M

I’m looking for a medium size, not very large speaker for listening music in my living and on the porch, eventually with wifi…can you recommend one? That is why I asked about the Move. I had the Bose Home Portable and I did not like it.

oluvsgadgets

The move has similar weird treble due to the waveguide. Maybe the new Sonos could do the trick with an extra battery pack as they allegedly run from 5V now

Vlad M

I have the Roam a l Like it, but it is too small.

oluvsgadgets

I still use it as well and at low levels it sounds quite decent. Funnily there is not much slightly larger but with great sound and Wifi. The Audio Pro C3 but doesn’t sound that great either…

Minirig 2.1 is quite a killer system, although bass from the Marshall may be deeper it just doesn’t have this power.

Foltea Iustin

It would just be an ideea for a fun video. ;)

Foltea Iustin

Anyways. The conclusion is that the marshall is crap

oluvsgadgets

I returned the Marshall long ago. It didn’t make sense to keep it at all. I would be maybe more curious how 2 UBoom L would compete against a 2.1 system, although the Minirigs already outperformed the Rockster Cross…

Absolutely commentless what marshall did. with the middleton and their marketing campaign. It is really a pity that no Company cares about your work and intentity. But of course you already namens the Problem in this Video. We as your followers and hopefully as people who care about your great work can only hope you‘ll keep going. Best case for everybody (even though enough would‘t recognize it) would of course be that you find a Company to create your very own prducts with. I‘ll keep my fingers crossed for this. Something different, do you know the YouTube Channel of a guy called Speakershocker? He tested an interesting pair of headphones, the KEF Mu7. I Oboe you are not a big Fan of KEF, but it would be interesting to hear your opinion on them. As Speakershocker included some binaural Audio samples you don‘t have to buy the headphone yourself but instead could Watch the video and could comment your thoughts about it. I would appreciate this because i found the samples to be tasteful. A little question at last: What about testing gear, patrons would like to ship to you? For example i do have a pair of NuForce Hem 2 inears, wich i could lend you. Don‘t give up Oluv, you‘re doing great.

Was expecting louder and better Stockwell II. Quite dissapointed.
