Hi guys,

I am sorry for my long absence but I was really facing hard times after my recent “crash” with lots of continuous ups and downs which made me drop into some depression that I am currently fighting with.

I didn’t even have the energy to login into my Patreon during the last weeks and wanted to avoid thinking about it because I had so many other issues to sort out first.

I got a new screen in the meantime but I am still using my broken laptop with it, as long as it is still working. I simply cannot afford any new PC right now. I had to sell lots of equipment recently to get some extra funds and be able to survive from one to the next month.

I managed to set up my speakers again to continue all my work but I still need to rearrange some of my IT-stuff first before being able to do anything serious. My plans are to optimise my headphone target with a simplified filter setup and offer additional variants with more averaging to the sides for the incoming spectrum. If I manage to verify everything I will start transforming my EQ settings over to other headphones with the HD6XX coming next after the current HD58X.

But right now my priority is to save my relationship and reach out to my family. I realised that I had neglected my obligations as father and partner of my wife too much during the last years concentrating too much on my own “career” which in the end simply never turned out to become really successful. After having celebrated our 20th anniversary it’s simply time to think about the future and how to continue to avoid any conflicts and disputes which I was mostly accountable for so far.

Please give me some time until I manage to come around and get back into my daily routine, but right now I simply have no energy and no free mind to start anything new. I am spending the next couple of days together with my family on a trip and should be able to present you some further results next week, hopefully with an optimised Qudelix setting for the HD58X and offering a first EQ attempt for the HD6XX.

I am very thankful for your patience and your continued support, and I hope to be back into my old shape soon.

Kisses to everyone, O.

We're all very much in support of you giving your family priority. In the long run, a supportive family who is there for you is what will truly set you up for success in life. Good luck to you!

Yes, all the best. Some things are more important.

Hi Oluv yes I do completely agree the most important things come first for sure. You offer tremendous value on this platform for me offered nowhere else and also the quality of your work - that is still here also for new members to learn about. Your perspective is always interesting to me. You and your family that is really important I hope you take good care. Thinking and caring about you as well. Take the time and care you need.

Take all the time you need Oluv. Your health and your relationship is far more important than your passion for audio excellence. Remember the old saying... "A happy wife is a happy life".

Oluv, ca you, please, tell me the whole number underneath your vifa helsinki(that long one with the year of production)? And also, can you tell me what are the numbers that represent the badge number? I found a second hand helsinki and I'd love to buy it, but I don't know if it has the 201 tuning or the later one. I want the original. The guy that sells it gave me the number of his tho(a photo): 80074881507220001 . It's a green unit. https://www.olx.ro/d/oferta/boxa-bluetooth-portabila-vifa-helsinki-sony-jbl-b-o-harman-denon-IDh7w04.html?isPreviewActive=0&sliderIndex=0

It’s made in 2022.

I think it's 2015. But I'm interested in the batch. Watch Oluv's helsinki 2015 vs 2019 video. Also, there hasn't been production anymore, for quite some time, for the helsinki.

Hey Oluv, now that more than one month has passed, I wanted to ask if everything is ok. I hope to hear from you again soon! 🙂
