How To Setup A Record Label And Recording StudioCreate a record label or recording studio.  You can also create a lot with both.  Give the lot either venue type.  Record Label, Recording Studio.

Required Items:-Basegame Guitar-Basegame Microphone -Get To Work Mix Master Music Station

In CAS give you Sim the Record Label trait located in the lifestyle category.

Note:  For All Computer Interactions To Appear Use The All-In-One Power PC.

Troubleshooting:If you do not see the computer interactions make sure you have the basegame computer listed above.

Try changing the desk and chair until you see the interactions.  Sometimes they'll glitch computers with my mods.

Make sure your Sim has the Record Label trait.

Move to another lot.

In game settings, script mods are enabled.

Your game is updated to the latest version.

From your residential lot, locate the "Record Label" menu.  Select the lot you previously setup.

Avoid using the retail business UI except for selling the venue.

Once you purchase the lot it'll revert back to Generic.

From the computer hire a musician, audio engineer, and vocal artist.  They're required for the recording session social event.

If this is empty, head back to the computer and hire someone else that might be in that world.

Goal the recording session.  You earn $1000 for bronze, $2000 for silver, and $3000 for gold.  This will help you recoup some of the high expense of creating an album.

How The Guitar Works-The recording session requires you to "Record Music Tracks".  This interaction will not create the track.  Use the "Make Music Track" interaction afterwards to send the track to your Sim's inventory.  The music track is required to create a full album.

How The Microphone Works-Record Vocals and then use the Make Vocal Track interaction.

How The Mix Master Music Station Works-Create And Album, then use the Create A Full Album interaction.  This interaction requires you have the vocal tracks and music track in your inventory.

Upload the album to the music streaming service.  Don't forget to collect music royalties every 24 hours from the computer.  You can collect this money with or without an album.  The daily $2500 will help you pay for recording studio sessions.

How To Install-Unzip file.  Keep all files in the folder.  Place the folder in your Sims 4 Mods Folder.-Sims 4 game options, mods and script mods need to be enabled.-Requires the latest version of Sims 4-If there isn't a zip file, just download all the files below, place them in a folder, then your Sims 4 mods folder.

Terms Of Use-Do not claim this mod as your own-Do not re-upload to any site-Translations cannot include the mod.  Only stringtables.

Troubleshooting - Artist Management Menu Not Showing

No interactions are showing up on this computer

Change computer to the All In One Power PC.  All interactions available.

Different Basegame PC.  Missing Artist Management Menu.

I'll try to change the tuning for the artist management interactions so they appear on more computers.  That'll most likely happen when it's updated.

The recording studio or record label venues are not showing up using the Basemental Venue list. Does Basemental need to update?

Hello, I have been waiting for this mod since announced and i'm happy is finally here. The only problem I am having is that I cannot hire the engineer, vocalist and the musician I tried switching up the pc and the desk and the chair as you suggested but nothing works

Check to make sure you have xml injector installed. Since they're simpicker they require that to show up.

Hi, loving your mod! only problem is that the artist management menu isn't popping up. I see all the other menus in the game and I have all the other available options. is there something else I'm missing? (i have xml as well)

For some reason this mod will not work for me. I got the base game computer and tried switching around the desks and chairs and everything. It won’t come up on the computer

What’s strange is that when my sims are uncomfortable all of wicked pixel mods show up on the computer but it says the sims can’t do that function because they’re uncomfortable, but when their mood changes the mods disappear.

I’m still having trouble with the sign artist interaction not showing up. I switched computers and it’s still not there? Anyone have tips?

I have them both installed do I need to take one out ? I can't get the venue option to pop up either . I have that says zerbu venues and one that says zerbus changes to venues

I took out the Basemental one and use the Zerbu venue list and all of the venues show up now.

Keep trying different computers or desk and chair combo. That seems to be the issue.

this mod actually broke my game. I'm not sure why but it made the lot I had with the venue type and the family i had to purchase completely unloadable or playable as a ncp . she was completely unclickable. I hope this gets fixed cause i have such a great story line for it and I can't wait to play with the record studio I built ♥

This mod is getting an update this week. I'm not sure why that happened either. When you removed the mod and played the game without it did the problem go away?

yes, and my better exceptions called it out too. I thought maybe it was a combo of that career and the music writer career. I took them both out. also, the lot I gave the studio trait completely disappeared and is inaccessible. when I load that lot, it errors out or the recover the same it puts the base game lot back. I did just notice my zerbus venue got placed somewhere randomly. I am about to start it again not its back in its right folder and see if that fixes at least the lot issue.

The lots revert back to generic automatically. They'll all read as generic after the purchasing process. What does error out mean? You get an error message?

it errors i can't load the game at all. the lot doesn't load at all and it went back to the base game lot like the whole building not just the venue type.

Do you have any duplicate mods in your mod folder. The game will do that with duplicates and some conflicts.

I also suggest not using the mods at all until they're updated.

the issue or bug I am having is when I hire an artist and musician and then go to try to set up the event the artist nor the musician I just hired shows up for selection.

You'll need to hire someone else that's either in that world or are previously friends with the Sim doing the hiring. Let me know if doing that spawns the hired Sim. That issue is also covered in the tutorial video in this post.

I'm trying to mod for the second of third time but in the computer still doesn't show up the artist management interaction. Also I've downloaded the latest version of the mod and I´ve used the base game computer ¿Any solutions?

Make sure you have the package file and script file for xml injector.

Yeah I´ve already have it both. I´ve tried only with this mod (quitting the other mods that I have) and also as you recommend I´ve changed chairs and tables but that interaction still doesn´t appear...

They can meaning they will not conflict. However the Music Industry Mod is getting an update tomorrow or day after. The artist management interaction won't show up for some.

Nothing I know of. What do you mean not reading? Also, this is getting an update today or tomorrow but make sure you've extracted the mod properly and have script mods enabled. Not sure if that's helpful.

I've got an update coming out today or tomorrow for this mod. I do have a troubleshooting guide, just scroll down to find it about this post most likely. That might help a little. But I am working on making this a lot more stable and easier to play.

I mean that its not showing up in game. It's the first mod that I use by you that hasn't shown up so I've been trying to trouble shoot to see if I made any mistakes like leaving the old version (with the old get rich quick mod) in the game. Which its not, I also extracted it properly too (even downloaded it twice just in case). I also changed my venue list but it just seems as if the mod is not showing up in my game and I cannot figure out why

Ok, I will just wait for the update, because the troubleshooting is honestly not working. Also, is it possible to have the mod talent focused, where the singer can have a concert event, or tour event? Meet with fans, write songs, and release it similar to Road To Fame but better?
