I was really excited when Saltmarsh got voted in as the next location. I bought the Ghosts of Saltmarsh module when it first came out because, high seas adventure... who could say 'no'?!

I wasn't disappointed. The campaign is basically a rewrite and mash up of 7 more famous adventures from older editions, some dating back to the early 80's which I thought was really cool. They are all obviously based out of the main town Saltmarsh and its surroundings and they form a cohesive stand alone campaign or are also designed to fit in well with the adventure based campaign of Waterdeep: Dragon Heist or Tales from the Yawning Portal.

I'm really happy with how this one turned out and I knew from the moment I saw the layout of the town map that it was gonna make for a cool perspective and a very atmospheric image. I also like how it is generic enough that the image could be used for any kind of fishing village in any type of campaign, which is what I'm hoping people can use these for going forwards.

Lemme know what you think of this one and what home brew story ideas it inspires by leaving me a comment, or let me know other locations you would like to see added to the current list.

Looks like Phandalin will be up next, so that should be another fun and useful location.

Absolutely stunning, you are incredibly talented. I came here from seeing your art on the XP to Level 3, CoS YouTube series and couldn't believe where they were "finding" the images of Barovia. I figured they might be stock art of other places, yet they looked exactly like how I picture Barovia to look in my mind. Wow, really great -- thanks for the amazing art! (love this Saltmarsh stuff, too!)

This has become my intro photo for Roll20 GoS campaign and the first image they see on reaching the village. We’re just doing adv 1 now so any others down the road will be put to good use. Thanks!!
