So, every once in a while I like to work with some of the very talented map illustrators. I have done at least half a dozen collaborations with Alex from Neutral Party, and Tom Cartos recently pitched me the idea of also doing a collab. I really enjoy being a part of the community that in some way adds to the D&D experience for a lot of groups, and working with other talented artists in general is a great treat.

This is a location that Tom came up with and wrote a little backstory which starts with "Nestled among the snowy peaks of Kaldrfjell sleeps the temple that takes the mountains name. It may once have had a title of it's own, but if so it is long forgotten. For centuries it had been a place of pilgrimage and sanctuary for many, home to an entire monastic school, but now it is occupied by a lone monk, Elder Maxim." You can find a free downloadable version here.

I hope home brew locations like this one inspires some ideas for a lot of you, and I think it could easily fit into quite a few of the published campaigns that I know a lot of you are playing through.

Lemme know what you think, and be sure to check out his map of this location. And as always you can find the animated version preview on my Instagram.
