I feel a little weird making artwork for a location when there is already such a cool visualization of it in the book. But, all I can do is paint it from my point of view and try to add in some small details that are in the description that I think the original artist missed. In this case, I tried more so to hint at the description of being above the clouds. This isn't easy to achieve when looking up at the towering location, but hinting at it in the painting along with the DM's description, hopefully gives the players a better image of it. Also, I wanted to communicate how treacherous the Spine of the World mountains are, so I hope I somewhat achieved that.

But as always let me know what you think of this one and have your players or party been to the Sunblight fortress yet?

How? How on earth could you know I'm starting this in 4 hours with my school groups, HOW?!>?!>!

Magnificent ! Thank you for that. I really don't like putting the dragon here, I let him escape from inside the forge. So, describing the doors at the top of the fortress makes me want to make my players curious: why a double door this size? What creature can get out of there? Or worst...

excellent... I'm just finishing up Caer Dineval and party learned about Sunblight. My players absolutely love all your artwork.

Wonderful job as always! I really love using your artwork in my game, and my players always really enjoy it. We're just in the run up to Sunblight right now; this week they got their first hints about some kind of greater threat from the duergar, so this will come in handy very soon!

Nice. I have been using your animated town art for my Icewind Dale campaign as a foundry scene for when my player go to a town, my players were complimenting your Good Mead art last session.
