Desert Encampment - Still Image (Patreon)

So the elves in my world are the only other race I have introduced so far. They, opposed to the humans who found this abandoned land and claimed it as their salvation, have lived on the land for millennia. Unfortunately for elves, when the Elder folk suddenly abandoned their homes, they took magic and the elves immortality with them. Over the centuries, as their immortality dwindled so did their collective memory of the past, so not even the elves have much memory of the Elder Folk and their mastery over magic. To the south of the continent lies vast, and sweeping deserts, where the elves live a solitary and nomadic life. I have based their culture on a mix of quite a few nomadic races, but one thing they have in common is their mastery over horseback archery reminiscent of Mongolian and native American peoples.
