Hell Portal - Still Image (Patreon)

So, the current era of my personal world is a people who are descedants of those who fled the cataclysm of their world. Five hundred years have passed, and because of the destruction, not much is known about this event, but folk know that the world was set aflame by the unleashing of Hell. The Folk have since found new shores and a new purpose, and few think or care about their shared history. 

I was thinking about this image as a high level adventure location. I have only once played in a campaign that was level 15-20, as most were between level 1-10, but those high level locations and encounters are very different to those early levels. How many people have played in high level campaigns and what sort of locations would your party have encounters? Is anyone playing in a high level campaign now?

I am working on a project for my personal world "The Westlands", and this will be one of the first images in the history of the world. I will be releasing more information about my project soon, but I have a few more images to do for the first chapter, so you'll get to see them soon too.
