It seems the Travel series that I have been doing recently has been helpful to a lot of people and since I've done a lot of the obvious areas that a group would travel through, I can branch out into a little bit more fantasy. I've always found the images of the 'No mans land' areas in ww1 hauntingly beautiful. The amount of the destruction that was caused to the terrain is shocking, and in my opinion, makes for a perfect fantasy landscape. In my game, a portion of the land is dying, and I think turning from forest into a landscape like this. So, hopefully this will inspire some more of you. It's a great place to fight some undead I think :)

As usual you can check out the animated version preview and follow my progress on my Twitter. Let me know what you think of this one and other areas you would like to see.

I'm running a 'dead lands' campaign now and I cant get enough art of desolate areas like this!

I enjoyed staring for a long time before reading your description. I had already thought, Wow, it's WW1. Berez in Curse of Strahd? probably! Undead or other horror = yes!

Reminds me of the dead marshes from Fellowship of the Ring!!
