A narrative illustration of a proud Keendan Ursine with their new spear, drawn with graphite on 11x14" paper.

Recently I've realized, despite my love for graphite, it's time to dedicate most, if not all, of my rendering efforts to oil/digital painting; naturally, I'll never stop drawing, but rather than focus on values, I'll use graphite to judiciously improve my narrative composition, anatomy, figure invention, and shadow construction (i.e. its main functions in a full illustration).
