The Boy and the Beast (Patreon)

'The Boy and the Beast', performed with graphite on 11x14" archival paper.

A graphite illustration to commemorate the completion of Project AOE's first draft, and very likely the last, fully rendered graphite illustration I produce for the foreseeable future as I commit to oil and digital. I'm proud of what I accomplished with the medium and am immensely grateful for the invaluable lessons it taught, but it's officially time to nestle it into a subordinate role as an imperative step in the greater, overall painting process, namely a means to efficiently establish composition, proportions, and shadow edges.

Your patience and support are deeply appreciated. Thank you,

Soic
