Triple Take reacts to AoT Levi OVA 1 UNCUT.mp4

Hippopi

Perfect timing and on my Bday! I love this OVA so much!

Levi being a criminal was hinted at by Petra when Eren was first introduced to the Special Ops Squad. She said he used to be a famous thug from the Underground until Erwin brought him into the Scouts. It's a bit harder to tell in English, but in Japanese different forms of verbs are used to show how casual/formal someone is speaking, and Levi always speaks extremely bluntly and what would be considered rude in Japan. Especially for someone in the military. So his demeanour is a bit of a hint that he wasn't part of "polite" society.

Are you guys going back to cropping the screens? I preferred it way better uncropped. The oval shape just cuts out so much detail. The rectangle was better imo!

Scooby

Bros you gotta put the full screen lol, we pay ya for the uncut unedited but we can't see the show :,)

Scooby

There's a part 2 to this by the way before you start S2

Sean Carroll

Just remember guys before you start season 2 to watch the season 1 finale end credits scene. I’ve mentioned this multiple times but haven’t received confirmation if you guys have seen my comments

Is that likely? As the last ep 23-25 were uncropped and this OVA should have come directly after that.

Yeah, it was delayed a little bit because they said their editor was sick and for those episodes, we saw that the screen was uncropped.

Seb don’t feel bad about confusing that bowlcut guy with Marlo the MP. I’m honestly impressed you remembered Marlo well enough to make that comparison! Every time I watch this OVA I’m reminded of Marlo when I see that guy, it isn’t just you. And Ben, the title card reads 0.5A, as in episode 0.5, part A. It used to confuse me too! Just joined your Patreon for the uncut episodes and I’m loving it so far but I do agree with those who’ve mentioned that the screen is cutting off too much. We want to watch along with you and it’s hard when we can’t see half the screen!
