In my experience, season 1 and 2 are the setup, season 3 and 4 are the payoff. It only gets better from here. Can't wait for more.

gotta disagree with Seb, season 2 was far better then season 1 for me, season 1 was too poorly paced whereas season 2 had so much crazy stuff and theory building. To each their own though Season 3 and 4 are what made attack on titan legendary

This season is great. I do get why people love season 2 especially with the reveals but i do think its overrated compared to the other AOT seasons. If i were to rank my favorite seasons it would be Season 2 < 1 < 3 < 4

The start of season 3 is more unique for sure since its mostly human conflict. Season 2's beginning isn't anything different from what we saw in season 1

You guys gotta be the first reactors to immediately like season 3. Most people generally take a bit to get into it as its a significant change of focus from the previous 2 and puts the titans on hold for a bit. it progressively gets better as it goes on though and the second half is generally considered the best arc or one of the best. Season 3 is the answers season, this is where your questions really start being answered. Also make sure to watch the ENTIRE credits for the mid-season finale as it has a pretty... interesting credit scene.

Complaints about season 2 are valid, but you'll come to find it's a very important season in terms of building characters, questions, and worldbuilding. A little slower in pace, but goes a lot deeper. Seasons 3 and 4 are fucking wild.
