Fatima Al Ali

Don’t judge eren, considering everything he have been through his actions and his thoughts are so justified And yes you guys in fact missed something

Sean Carroll

Eren just found out that he ate his dad, he also realised that everyone is sacrificing their lives for him and now he feels incredible guilt that he may hold a power that he shouldnt have. the guy is going through some shit right now. he punched himself to snap himself out of it

Sean Carroll

rod reiss titan was crawling because historia broke his back in the cave after she threw him to the ground. Rod also did not have love for historia as a child, she was a burden to him that he kept hidden for years on a farm and only after Grisha killed his family did Rod go to find historia, he needed her to take the titan power back from Eren and thats it. When he was younger he genuinely wanted to stop the titans but after seeing the mentality shift that his brother Uri and daughter Frieda went through he realised that there is nothing he could do. Remember that if a royal family member (Reiss blood) owns the founding titan they are controlled by the first kings vow to renounce fighting and so they wont do anything about the threat of other titans attacking the walls. Grisha stole the power because of this vow and hoped Eren would free humanity from the titans using the foudning titans power.

More!

Yo Sean, (fancy seeing you here) careful with what you're "reminding" the boys about. Part of the joy of this series is just figuring shit out for yourself, even if it's been hinted at, pieces have been shown, or it's just explicitly been told. I understand, there's definitely some shit that needs to be understood by a certain time in the series, so I get it.

Ben Stover

He beat the shit out of the brat and put that cowardly part of himself away. Thats why he can be confident now. It makes sense

Sean Carroll

I recognise your name but can’t remember where from? They are struggling to understand things and will not remember in future when they need to

Nicholas Wild

Nuts that there's still 40+ episodes left. Only gets better from here. 😊

Paul Durbin

Ye ye ye I get it just sayin be careful. Studio Gek GoT chats lol

Sean Carroll

Oh yes you were one of my supporters against the positivity merchants weren’t you?

Paul Durbin

I started catching just about as much hate as you did haha

Hippopi

Eren's 15 years old, has been through a bunch of trauma with no one really asking him if he's okay, has the weight of all humanity on his shoulders, and just found out his father murdered a bunch of kids, and has had friends betray him multiple times. He was also about to be eaten by a titan, and basically gave up on living a few hours before this episode. I'd say he's dealing with things pretty well all considered. Also I think you missed out on the point of him beating himself up - he had a realisation, beat himself up and then said "I hope the brat is dead and gone for good". He was essentially killing that old version of himself.

Nina Leonard

The reason Rod Reiss’s titan crawls is because beforehand historia broke his back, he was meant to stand up straight

Sasha

Eren is perpetually misunderstood

Claudio Righi

what??? while he was beating himself up he says that he hopes this crybaby side of his never comes out again kkkkkkkkk
