Eren's dad is dead. His death is literally a major plot point for the show, and was confirmed numerous times. That easily cancels out the possibility of the Beast Titan being Eren's dad because again, Eren's dad is dead. There are many other things to theorize about.

I agree that missing certain things doesn't make them bad reactors. But constantly misreading or dismissing major plot points in the show (ex; Eren's dad getting eaten by Eren) to build a cheap, low-hanging theory isn't good reacting either.

This is everything I can think of to completely debunk this theory that we as viewers need to get into your heads. KEITH FOUND EREN ALONE IN THE FOREST AND TOOK EREN BACK TO THE SHELTER 5. EVER SINCE THEN EREN HAS HAD THE TITAN POWERS (FOUNDING TITAN AND GRISHAS TITAN, 2 TITAN POWERS, EREN FIGHTS WITH HIS DADS TITAN POWER AND CONTROLLED TITANS USING THE FOUNDING TITAN POWER) 6. They’re watching the show for the first time and will have all the answers revealed to them and yeahhh it’s a far reaching theory tbh but it’s a super fun one and you can tell they’re really liking the show 😭 everyone on this Patreon is soooo picky it’s insane. Y’all want full screens despite legal issues, less talk time, more talk time, no fun theories, certain verbiage, etc. Like damn 😭 just let the men react and have fun while doing it, they’re clearly very invested in the show and are hyped about receiving answers. Dude you really need to relax — they’re invested in the show and are theorizing about the myriad of unanswered questions so far which is more than I could ever want out of reactors who just stay silent and “ooo” and “aaa” at the show instead of trying to come up with their own thoughts and ideas, ESPECIALLY when it’s their first ever anime. The idea that erens dad is monkey titan is obviously a stretch but I’m pretty sure they only think that bc it’d be a fun, crazy plot twist lol. Idk why you care so much about how they’re digesting the sheer amount of information in the show when it’s clear that they’re solving the problems little by little themselves and when you know the answers will be revealed anyway. I for one think they’re doing an incredible job with theorizing, investing into and thinking about the show. I seriously don’t get why everyone’s so up in arms about them wanting monkey titan to be grisha — it’d be a sick ass plot twist. They fully acknowledge all of those plot points several times in every episode 😭 they’re literally just hanging onto it because they’re having fun and if I were watching the show the first time myself, that’d be a crazy ass plot twist I’d love to see coming even if it’s not that likely This is also like… what? 1. Nothing wrong with them making up theories and having fun with the show 2. This theory has been disproven multiple times in the last 6 episodes alone so it no longer has any ground. 3. The issue is that they are letting their theory overtake what the show has actually shown them multiple times and explained. Erens dad was shown to be eaten in ep 6 4. My large comment highlights every piece of why the theory is wrong to have at this point

If there was 6 different callbacks to Eren's dad being eaten throughout the season yet him being the Beast Titan is still their leading theory then I don't think they're "acknowledging" it like you say. Especially when they talk over or miss key details that could point to better theories. You don't need to be over here defending them either lol. They're content creators, don't start mothering them when people voice their critique.

I get where you’re coming from but I don’t see where this “overshadowing” is taking place. They’re excited for the possibility, NOT claiming it as truth. Each time they bring it up, they still acknowledge all the other facts that the show has presented, proving that they’re still following along with everything just fine and are excited for what would be an epic, albeit extremely unlikely, plot twist. Yes, grisha has technically been confirmed dead, but monkey titan’s identity has not been revealed and I think it’s just fun for them to think about the craziness of who the “final boss” may be. The show is about giant humanoid creatures and flying humans with a deeply layered plot, I’m sure anyone could have come up with even crazier theories if they wanted. It’s JUST a silly theory they have fun with. Nothing more, nothing less. With the way they speak about it, it’s almost more like an inside joke than anything else. I get that they’re grasping at straws, but it hasn’t detracted from all the correct information they’ve digested and they’re actually theorizing and following along a lot better than most other reactors.

Sorry but the argument of “I dont care so neither should you” isn’t really valid. I care about this show, so what? I don’t take everything seriously about their reactions, I even think their theories can be entertaining. But the point of a comment section is to have discourse. There’s nothing wrong with critiquing their content. I pay for their Patreon to enjoy their reaction and share my thoughts/critiques when I please. Do you pay for their Patreon to police everyone’s thoughts?

The point of even having to critique is excessive though. Frankly, I agree that everybody is entitled to their opinion, but realistically, throughout life you should understand that it’s not always welcome to voice it, especially without being willing to receive pushback which is the only thing I’m giving now, not policing. A few points; - They’re literally three dudes watching a show and filming it……… expecting three random dudes in Australia to watch a show the way you want to is oddly parasocial and demanding for three random ass dudes or any reactor for that matter - They’re smaller creators who have been making content for a handful of months. - They have said before that they read the comments and the comments they’ve been receiving seem super harsh lately for three guys who clearly just do this for fun (this obviously isn’t paying their bills nor do they do it full time like other reactors, they have mentioned that they go out of their way to meet up when they can to film) - you’re paying less than $5 a month and now making demands?? Brother help me. That’s like 16 cents a day…. And yall are being picky with them?? - they are new at it. - it’s JUST a show and just because you love it doesn’t mean that those who you’re reacting to are going to suck the balls of it the same way you do and theorize like crazy and take notes and risk copyright and shit like yall are asking and unnecessarily “critiquing” for less than 14-15 pence a day 😭 even calling it “critique” is self-inflating in my opinion - let small (VERY small) creators do what they’re doing and just let them watch the damn show without telling them they’re watching it “wrong” or are terrible reactors.
