I thought the movies were just serie compilations? A recap/rewatch before the final parts?

There are 4 AOT movies (animated). But from what I've heard they are just the series heavily squashed into movies. Which ofc makes for a horrible viewing experience and hence nobody reacts or hardly watches them. Though I don't know if they are solely contain footage from the series or have "new" footage. And then there are 2 live action movies. Though not great movies from what I've heard. I have read that the 'titan' reveal (episode 1) is truly mindblowing, and ODM gear usage looks cool. But also Levi is... Erwin brother or somebody else. Some people are related in the movie but not in the series. Which is stupid.

Based on Eren’s monologue with Ramzi, he would have done the Rumbling regardless, doesn’t matter if Marley or the world attacked or not.

Also the front line of titans when spread out a bit isn't that hot, it's when they're all close together and Hange was no longer able to use buildings that the heat became too much.

Yes most of those movies were just recaps but The Last Attack was the 2 specials put into 1 movie Which is how the director originally wanted to release them they have slightly improved animation and extra after credit scene.

So this is the last part? Never seen it being called a movie. Not even by the previous reactors. Only Final Part 1 and 2. Or season 4 part 3 or something. Esp with the animated and live action movies out there. Prevents confusion like this. Guess it does fit with them. ;p

Where did I say I haven't seen it??? Of course have seen AOT, would be silly to watch any reaction to something if you haven't seen 'the original'. And 4/5 reactions to it. Not sure how you come to that weird conclusion. I just haven't seen the movies. Not sure why I would watch poorly rated consended serie movies. As by chatGPT; "The 4 animated movies from Attack on Titan are recap films, not original stories. They retell the events of the anime’s early seasons, condensing multiple episodes into feature-length summaries." Part 3 (2023) – 2 Special Episodes, Attack on Titan: Final Season – The Final Chapters: Special 1 , Attack on Titan Season 4 part 3 part 1 part 2, AOT, Final Part 1/2 etc. All different names for the last 2 parts. Never seen em being called movies. ;p Which would only raise confusion (hence these comments) since the animated movies and live action movies are out there). Also haven't seen the live action films yet but I do want too. Just expect a bad movie and it'll prob be an ok/good experience.

I'd say the final nail in the coffin was the speech/event held by the 'pro Eldian who don't live on the Island group'. When he/they started speaking 'don't focus on those eldians, they are ok. Just kill those on the island!'.

and we gotta remember. Eren is only NINETEEN. it's all just so tragic. From the day he's born, he's wanted to fight for HIS people. he's not doing the right thing. but to him, who is still basically a child, with this much power thrown onto him, it's the best he can probably think of that will GUARUNTEE his people safety.💔 he only has 4 years left, for him, time is running out, and he doesn't wanna leave their future to chance.

And the whole world doesn't wanna kill them. Marley is just the strong militant force in the world. For example, the Azamabito is on their side. There are so many other refugees, and not to mention, other Eldians across the world being treated wrongly, and billions of innocent people who will die. There are 100% better ways to try and bring peace to the island, but Eren is not an Armin; he is not smart enough, or good enough, to know how to reach that.

Sorry for all the comments, but. The limited rumbling was the original plan. That's what Armin thought Eren was going to do when he first saw the walls come down, remember. He thought Eren had come back to the main gang's 'side' and would do a small rumbling to just the military bases, and threaten them that if anyone comes for Paradis, they will attack the world with the rumbling. That WAS the original plan. That Armin and the rest were planning.

I actually really like Armin's question to Eren at the end there: "In what way are you free?" This whole time, since season 1, Eren has been talking about and obsessed with the idea of freedom... and now, in a way, he is using it as part of his justification for committing genocide. But what is freedom to Eren? What is his definition or concept of freedom? Is he right? I think it's an interesting question to ask ourselves, too.

I got so excited when I saw the notification for this. It’s all been building up to these last moments of AOT. I’m going to jump straight in to this react video 👏 highlight recommend reading everyone’s comments and takes on the episodes. Ultimately just remember there is no one ‘good’ and one ‘bad’ and Eren really was just a kid who happened to get power no one has a perfect plan here I feel

Some good thoughts so far! I love the discussions about why Eren chose to do what he did and we don’t know what someone else with the power would have done. It’s interesting to see you talk about why Eren didn’t chose a limited rumbling and hold the ‘threat’ of a further rumbling for future, but Seb and Charlie are right, it doesn’t solve the problem, it prolongs it, it hinders peace. Technologically speaking what if the world were to advance to the point they just drop a nuclear bomb on Eldia one day 😂 keep watching, more questions will be answered, but think about possibly Eren’s bigger plan for the world. LOVE THIS VIDEO ALREADY only 20 mins in

The live action films are not worth watching. You can YouTube the action scenes . They came out well before season 3 of the anime had even come out & take a wildly different liberties with the series.

If you like destruction on a mass scale Jujutsu Kaisen is the next anime you should watch. It arguably had the best fights last year. Its dark like AOT but there is a lot more humor in it.

Ugh this movie was one of the best. Hange dying killed me! I thought what if this was like a precursor of if you don’t stop trying to kill us and put us continuously through hell this is your future, this is your outcome. Just death but… that not what Eren is thinking.
