Just to clear up some things, this doesn't spoil anything. Some non-sorcerers (ordinary people) in JJK can see curses because of natural spiritual sensitivity to cursed energy, however most people can't. Stronger curses (like Special Grades) are more visible due to their intense cursed energy, and weaker curses can't be seen by normal people unless they directly interact with them (like the one seen in this episode, and the little boy being able to see it once it grabbed him). Environment and stress can also play a role, places with a lot of negative energy make it easier to sense or even see curses.

not sure if you needed anyone to tell you guys but the little cut away at 12:20 is like the little cards in AOT that gave you information abt the world. its just a little break shows used to put ads in the middle of :)

Megumi said in the first episode that normal humans can't see most curses unless the curse is trying to kill you. (basically)

JJK is my fav anime and even for me this ep can be a bit rough Nobara is a very distinct quirky character in my opinion so it really isn’t easy to “get” her right away! Thanks for the upload also the little outros do have some significances here n there and are also really cute

yayyy can’t wait for next few eps

Pls do watch and finish the Outro. Usually there is a "JUJU STROLL" at the end of it, they're like bonus scenes that are random and just funny. And ofc I'd love to always see how cool my husband Gojo dances 😎🥰 So for your question, Jujutsu sorcerers can see curses bcos of their possessed curse energies. Non-sorcerers usually can't see curses unless they are in a life-or-death situation, experiencing intense negative emotions like fear or stress, which significantly boosts their cursed energy output, allowing them to temporarily perceive curses. I am enjoying this so much with you, so I'm excited for the next episode. Thanks TT!! ✌🏻🥰💜

Monica

Jujutsu sorcerers are human, but are gifted and capable of using cursed energy. But yes, most humans cannot see curses. Also the show does take place in 2018.

A couple of words guys that will come in handy when watching anime, SENSEI means teacher. That's why they call Satoru Gojo as "Gojo-Sensei". Then SENPAI is someone more senior than you, so Itadori called the girl in their club Senpai. Or Megumi Fushiguro when he mentioned the 2nd-yr student in the 1st ep "Zenin-Senpai." They're not names or part of the names. It'll be great if you learn these words.
