Thanks for the reaction guys! xx Just two things you may not have picked up on (I didn't at first) as they are not explicitly explained here - but very important to know and also just really cool in terms of JJK worldbuilding: 1. Nanami goes into 'Overtime' and Mahito comments that it's a "time-based pact". Basically, it's an actual self-imposed restriction that grants Nanami (or any sorceror who enters such a pact) increased power or abilities after a certain period of time has passed, aka after 6pm in this case. It's not just a turn of phrase for him. 2. Mahito also says Nanami is "serious about this" when Nanami tells him how exactly his 7:3 ratio power works. This wasn't just Nanami saying it for fun. Back when him and Yuuji were fighting those transfigured humans on the roof of the cinema, Yuuji was thinking out loud over the dialogue so it's easy to miss, but Nanami explains that "revealing one's hand" is a binding vow that increases the user's cursed energy output in exchange for vocally divulging how their cursed technique functions - basically a boost of power in exchange for kind of giving away your next move. Hence why Mahito is commenting on how locked-in Nanami is to invoke that vow here. So whenever a character is explaining their power to an opponent in this series, that's what they're doing. A clever way to integrate exposition for us viewers into the dialogue as well.

1. The scars on Junpei's forehead are cigarette burns from the students who bullied him. That's why he showed the teacher and said make sure you're watching. Because the teacher witnessed much of his bullying. It's also why he got upset and asked his mom to stop smoking in front of him. (We can assume cigarettes are a little triggering) 2. According to Gege Akutami (Jujutsu Kaisen's creator), Mahito is genderless due to the fact that they're born from hatred humans hold for each other but takes on a more masculine form. 3. (If anyone thinks this is spoilers comment below and I'll edit it out but I don't think it is) yall commented on Nanmi looking young, he's about Gojos age (late 20s) if that helps

What its a spoiler its a fkin tinny detail i just noticed rewatching this chapter, that only makes sense at the end of season 2. I watched this show a lot of times but i usually skip this part for reasons, jesus christ there are some things here..

Mahito himself probably wouldn't care much if you referred to him with any particular pronoun. Remember, Mahito is not a human, Mahito is a curse the concept of gender is probably one of the last things he's thinking of, Mahito is a human curse, with the ability to modify souls (to change their physical form) he can take any form he likes
