It definitely is not a retelling of the same story. Not sure if you guys saw any of the other comments but season 1 was a very small and insignificant part of the main story that actually begins with season 2. Don’t get me wrong I love season 1 with my whole body and soul, but season 2 is a whole other level like you can’t even compare them because they’re soo different. Just get excited you’re in for a ride man. Had season 2 been a retelling of season 1 you wouldn’t have soo many people saying season 2 is their favourite. Again guys please do not be lame and spoil, do not want a repeat of what happened last time thanks, love you.

I mean I think it’s understandable, we had a whole year and a bit to process what went down in season 1 whereas they got right into season 2. I love Suho now but I know how attached I was to that character when I first watched season 2 so of course they’re a bit upset that all those characters they’ve grown to know in season 1 aren’t as present in season 2 because it’s a whole different storyline.

I also watched both seasons back to back! I did not feel mad about the new friend group. Sieun deserves to have friends who genuinely care about him. Also I hope they don’t read this comment because they clearly said they hope they come back so maybe we should not write that in the comment section

I know you guys want Sieun to jump in and fight the bullies 😂 (me to!) but this episode shows us that Sieun is struggling with PTSD. He's having nightmares and can't sleep, is constantly having flashbacks to fights where he and/or his friends got hurt, spends his nights alone in the hospital sitting outside Su-ho's room. I think this is why he freezes up when he encounters the bullies in this episode.

100% ! The guy is just trying to stay to himself while he struggles to heal with what happened. He needed to seek therapy since the beginning of the first season. I do admire his character bc regardless of what he’s going through & the fact he’s not a fighter, he def is a survivor!

I said “aren’t as present” and my comment is based on the intro and nothing else I didn’t reveal anything about the season I’m the embodiment of anti spoiler. And also to each their own, I get pretty invested with characters aswell so it would be a shock to me personally to go from consistently seeing certain characters in one season to not seeing them the first episode of the following season.

the first three episodes of season 1 were slow for me too, I think the second half of the season is PERFECT and i got hooked immediately too. And somehow I feel the same about season 2. The first 2 episodes are a little slow but the rest of the season is my favorite. I love season 2 so much and I hope you will as well!

A tip: when you watch the show please don't watch with CC English subtitles and turn to normal English instead. Seems like you watched this ep with CC. In normal English the dialogue is much better flowing and more close to what the characters are actually saying. Trust me guys

Exactly. Poor guy is just trying to survive. Even at his last school, where there was bullying in the classroom, Sieun wasn't trying to be the hero or looking for fights. When it was baseball boys vs Su-ho, Sieun just sat in his chair minding his business. 😂 He only fought to protect himself and his friends. So given his track record and all the trauma from Season 1, Sieun's behavior here is very understandable.

I hope no one spoils anything that will ruin the surprise for you. Juntae so far is good but no one can deny the similarities with him and Beomseok. So at this point, we're all traumatized and don't know who to trust. One thing I love, episode 1 of s1 beomseok chose to be a coward by putting drugs on sieun, juntae was a coward by stealing his phone but eventually decided stop being one by the end of the episode. We'll see how it goes...🤔
