YASSS THANKS GUYSS

gi⁷ ❦

baku and gotak are amazing 🥹

bailey

No not now… I have to be a civil citizen and go to work. I’ll be back 😌

Master Dono

Literally me. I got stuff to do. I’ll watch later. 😂

Zee ☆

NGL you guys are my FAVORITE SHOW I’m saving this for dinner

Mags7

I enjoyed the comedy aspect because season 1 is so heavy. Also you can definitely not judge Baku based on that scene he has barely spoken and you will see why he is the top dog of the high school in the next one

itzzlucinda

Oh trust me you can’t judge based on episode 2 you will see what Baku is about the build up with these characters will be insane!

Morgan

You guys should start Alice in Borderland, I think you guys would love it❤️❤️

Chalanna

Ahhhhh!!! I wasn't expecting Episode 2 this early. Thanks guys! Also, I want to argue all the points you made at the end about Baku and the odd tone shift but I'd have to give spoilers. 😂 You gotta trust the process guys! And remember Season 1 was a prequel to the Webtoon series whereas Season 2 is based directly on that webtoon, hence some of the new characters being "larger than life" I guess. Just keep watching! You're gonna love it so much 🔥

Habiba

Thank you for keeping us updated. You guys are working so hard, much appreciated💕

Danny Chong

Guys I swear enjoy the sweet and comedic part while it lasts!

gabi 🦢

that’s what i was going to say haha

Alya Min 알야 민 💫

Baku’s entrance: disruptive if you care about emotional pacing, brilliant if you’re here for instant character impact and anime-level flair, which i personally see as part homage to the original webtoon. I was skeptical at first too, but the deeper I got into the series, the more I realized that introducing him this way instantly shows who he is: confident, bold, larger-than-life. If you care about character dynamics, it makes his future interactions more engaging and impactful - 'cos you already know the energy he brings, and how much he can lose when circumstances pull him in different directions.

Sabrina K

lmao I lowkey thought the same when I first watched the introduction, I was like bruh why is this comedic all of a sudden, it didn't hit me either.

napipopeta ˙⋆✮

Omg thanks for dropping ep2 of weak hero2 early. Baku is she's son in twinkling watermelon hahaha please watch it too

soleo

I think people may not get it because of the spelling mistake, so… Baku (Ryeoun) is Suho’s (Choi Hyunwook) son in Twinkling Watermelon. It’s such a great show, honestly one of my faves! But then again, I just love every drama with Choi Hyunwook in it he always plays the best roles

Varun

As you said, Baku is all about no violence. That is who he is!

kwonnie

I kinda felt the same with ep 2 lmfao…. but pls do keep watching it’s important for the story’s progress…can’t wait for s3… it’s where the real story begins tbh

dami

Enjoy these happy moments guys… yall need to buckle up 🥲

Kdrama Lover

Hoping one day you react to Hwarang and Strong Woman Do Bong Soon

Beth Edwards

I love the weak hero reactions! A lot of the cast are in a military drama called "D.P.," and it is also a show I'd recommend you watch at some point! This season opened up a lot of opportunities for some smaller actors (the main antagonist, for example). I had never seen any of his work until this season because he (fun fact) is primarily a musical stage actor! He's become one of my favorite Korean actors, and I really hope he does more screen dramas!

WeluvWWH⁷

WEAK HERO CLASSS MY FAVV VIDEOS OF YOUUU, CAN‘T WAIT FOR E3 !!!!!!💕💕

1osaki

i will say i did feel the same way as you guys did at first but it definitely picks up from here on out. Season 1 had this strong intimate vibe in a sense where the emotions were really high and season 2 still has some aspects of that but it's not as strong but it's still great on how it picks it up from here

Gaby

His introduction is funny because he is funny, you will like him for sure 😆

Somi

The reason for this kind of introduction is that Baku is so powerful that whatever happening in this scene is like a child's play to him. What I’m trying to say is, Hyo-man is scared of Baku; he doesn’t need to show a serious side, because his mere presence stopped the fight. The dunk was also done purposefully, as if he were scolding a naughty kid rather than fighting an equal. Also, remember this is the main season. Season 1 was a prequel to this.

Mikkeai8908

The thing is about sieun’s fighting style is that it’s not really type of style of fighting. He’s literally just fighting for survival. So with that, he’s using his genius impromptu thinking skills to find a way to live another day. So with that, the way he fights is unconventional and unpredictable. What he does from time to time may be subtle, but it works. That’s why despite him not being a good fighter, he still manages to essentially win the fight.

Mikkeai8908

In my opinion, i think it’s an insult when you assume sieun would fall for mind games of those especially like hyoman. That’s essentially an insult to his intelligence, especially when you know how intelligent sieun is.

Mikkeai8908

Actually the timing of Baku’s entrance was perfect, especially of what’s to come. You’re judging before letting the story progress first. Because we need some sort of comic relief to lighten the mood from time to time. Imagine constantly dealing with negative energy 24/7 with no breaks, it gets exhausting, depressing and boring after a while. Sieun’s state of mind is the way it is all because of constantly being in and dealing with negative energies. We need something positive and lighthearted for him for once.

Ale

this season is sooo bombb

bailey

I agree. I was so put off by baku's introduction. But season 2 really does have a great plot and once you know who baku is, you understand the "childish" introduction. I know they will grow to love it as well!

imasloth

I'm very much on the same page where after watching season 1 this show became my favourite show, because of similar reasons you guys have stated and probably will continue to state as we go, season 2 didn't live up to season 1 for me, I still really loved the season don't get me wrong but just not as much as the first one. I actually think some of the reasons for the slight tone shift and things is that both the show had to follow the webtoon more that it's based on whereas season 1 I think the creators had a lot more freedom because of how little source material there was for that time period in the first school, and also it got bought up by netflix for season 2 whereas previously it was wavve who produced it so I think that might've also had an impact. Really love your reaction to it tho and I'm sure you guys will like the season, but yeah I definitely also put a higher standard on the second season after how great everything about the first was

Saha

you guys are in for a treat!

noelia

oh just wait, Baku is no joke! you will love him

KeliTTries

Honestly, that was my initial reaction when Baku was introduced, but give it a second, they will cook. Also, you kinda hit on it a bit at the end, but Season 1 was just a prequel that focused strictly on Sieun. From here on it the world in the story will keep getting bigger I think.

Violet Crush

Agree with that actually. As always with any other show, its hard to beat the first season. Second season seems a little bit rush but its still enjoyable.

zzz z

up for D.P! I feel like no one reacts to it

jenn sanchez

I agree, 1st season was my favorite and 2nd season felt a lil lacking, but I still enjoyed it. I just think the 1st season was so top notch that its hard to compare.

Rafaela Amancio ❤️🇧🇷

All the characters in the second season are so well-built, this second season came to thrill just like the first. ❤️

Ai .L

Guys, TRUST THE PROCESS 😆

J-Lee

Baku is something else you guys! His personality is very much different from the others, I know. But he's not that bad. Haha 😆 I've read the Weak Hero manga/manhwa and tbh, this series is much much better. They've executed the plot and the characters really well compared to the manhwa. So yeah I hope Baku would grow on you some time soon.

J-Lee

Class 2 is gonna get more intense, guys. Double than Class 1, so yeah hang in there! 😉

J_Y_O_T_I

Season 2 is not a repeat of season 1-it's a fresh storyline that builds on what came before. The stakes are higher, the challenges are harsher, and it's the true start of the main journey.

J_Y_O_T_I

You’re definitely going to love Baku’s character—just wait for episodes 3 and 4, that’s when things really start to kick off! (TRUST THE PROCESS)

Yoongiless

Baku is not an unserious character, guys. You'll see in the next episodes, don't worry at all, lmao

Cece

hi, new patreon! When I first watched this episode's ending, I was honestly let down too! I had the same critiques as you guys because I also expected so much because it's one of my favorite dramas also. Having them build up Baku in a non-comedic way made Baku's comedic entry feel very off instead of satisfying. But I'm just gonna say, the show got better the more episodes I watched, that's just how it usually goes I guess. I just wished they made Baku's build up this episode have a mix of both the mediator and the comedic relief in the beginning instead of just describing Baku as only the mediator for this school's fighting. I saw no comedic build up for Baku so it made Baku's entry feel like it was out of left field. I don't know if that makes sense, I'm just basically agreeing with you guys lol. Anyways from just the two first episodes, my favorite new character would be Jun Tae of course. The way Jun Tae smiled because he helped the MC with his sleep was such a warm feeling. I enjoyed this reaction lots. I'm so excited for ya'lls episode 3 reaction!

eva

please dont judge too hard 🙌trust the show. though i get it, when you love a show you tend to be more critical in a way. i felt the same by the end of this episode. found it weird, but i ended up loving the season 🙌

Alya Min 알야 민 💫

You are right. Sieun had clocked Hyoman as a “predator with a plan” right from the start. Him not walking away and choosing to step in this time is not because he trust that fella, but because someone he now cares about, Jun Tae, is being pulled into danger and he just needed to make sure he's safe.

napipopeta ˙⋆✮

omg I was so sleepy that time so I didn't notice I typed she's instead of suho's hahahaha tysm!! Hyunwook is a great actorrr!! missing his braces era during taxi driver. He's one of few people Ik who look good in braces.

shelbs

guysss PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏 let the show cook. there’s so much to learn about baku and at this point of the season they haven’t told you any of it. i’d say to let them show his character before judging the choices. and trust the writing!!! season 1 started the same way with the first episodes being lighter and there’s even more build up now that there’s more characters to meet.

Channie T

You guys have to remember that this show is based of a webtoon and the directors and writers are trying to show the webtoon side as well as making it realistic and serious like season 1. Season 2 is the main story based of the webtoon so you are gonna see a lot of that elements.

Loftyfilms

Baku is just silly like that 😔

Lilja Sól

Please next ep weak hero class

Lindsay Wood

You guys are definitely too critical and picky this early in. You haven't even met all the characters yet. Haha Having a funny goofy character in Baku that's feared in a serious show always fits well because when you are forced to see the goofy funny character break down it hurts even more.

Jamilla

Baku is a very layered as you're soon discover. He uses comedy to mask his true feelings and Si-eun is going to see him for who he is. Yes, the friendships from S1 are great but this season has its own connections that are special and hold weight as a result of what happened before

Fern Edwards

loving that we are jumping back into season 2! I think from the discussions this epsiode, I think it'll help if you try to do a little less comparisons. there's been a few more critical reactions lately comparing Weak Hero 1 vs 2, comparing Squid Game 1 vs 2 and even Alice in Borderland vs Squid Game. Which is a shame as I feel like all these reaction videos have had a bit of a down tone and as a viewer we know in every example you need to TRUST THE PROCESS. Not to comapre too much, to go with the flow, and to just enjoy the journey. You know the patreon and fans would NEVER get you to react to bad shows, so just trust us too. I like you guys theorising what's going to happen and analysing the characters/plot and I'd love you to focus on that too and not get too bogged down. Personaly I loved the comedic element of Baku and how he came in because it caught me off guard, I know he'd be terrifying but then wasn't and I love being kept on my toes like that. I get the impression the show is going to dive into him as not just a funny guy, so i'm excited to get into that. I hear it's trust to the webtoon also Like others have said the webtoon it's based off actually starts with Weak Hero season 2 and season 1 is more of a prequel to create a backstory for Sieun. I totally get why you naturally feel like you have to compare something to the original and it's hard when you LOVED season 1. But lets goooo, i'm also watching season 2 for the first time with you guys every step of the way, so let's trust all the comments about how incredible this season is going to be and see what happens :)

Ai .L

I really hope people in the comments can avoid spoiling the character development and let the reactors experience it for themselves. It takes away the joy of watching when you’re constantly reading explanations about why a certain character should be liked. Just let them enjoy the series naturally, they’ll come to their own conclusions as the story unfolds.

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

“Sieun is not a good fighter, but if you fight him, you the one who gonna sent to the hospital” — Seb is sooo right about this 👏👏👏 Sieun has a psycho inside him!

Mimi

I disagree. I think Baku’s intro showcased how different these new characters are compared to the ones from season 1. Suho was introduced as this bold character beating up that baseball team in season 1 compared to Baku being a little more humorous with his intro.

Kiki01

Baku didnt have such a harsh introduction where he would slam everyone down because he is against fighting. So that's why they made him have this silly entrance because that is his character and his demeanor that he walks around with. He doesn't like fighting and you will find out why, so they gave him the perfect yet unique entrance that I thought was super funny and brought something new and intriguing to the show making you want to watch more and see how his character and it all play out.

jungcookd

hii regarding the end of the video i just had to say that i started s2 w the expectation that it would be similar to s1 but they both def have diff vibes, and although s1 holds a very special place in my heart s2 is also so great and i truly ended up loving both 🙏🙏

sm220900

Guys I beg PLEEEEEASE watch Jinny’s kitchen season 1. It was filmed just after the group ‘broke up’ when Jin went to the military and they all had lots of time to do things. It stars V (taehyung) and some Korean actors (one you know from train to busan). They run a small restaurant for like 10 days and it’s such a fun watch. Please let that be your next reaction. Love you guys ^^

Lizzyard

I'm SOO with them, s2 by this point was not hitting the mark for me - s1 for realism and grit was 10/10 while s2 felt dialed down, being silly is fine and all for Baku but I feel like they pivoted from the webtoon so much in terms of brutality feeling sooo much more impactful and s2 lost that for me sadly - don't get me wrong it is definitely a really fun season but I wanted wayyy bigger emotions out of s2 that I didn't feel like I got as much
