The guy from season 1, who Sae-byeok (the girl with the little brother or player 067) went to, runs some sort of informal agency where he helps North Korean defectors. People pay him to try and track down missing family members who are still stuck in the North or went missing during the escape. So in season 1, Sae-byeok went to him to help her track down her mum who didnt make it out of North Korea with her and her brother. And this season, the woman he's seen talking to is also a North Korean defector looking for her daughter.

Responding to Seb's take on the sniper, I'd say that it was a good shot. I would assume they have money for good shooters. Also the vehicles were going slower so they could be discrete following the limo, while the limo wasn't going fast to begin with. Plus they had just turned a corner. The sniper took the second shot while the vehicle was trying to reverse. And we don't know for sure that they didn't have a backup plan or if they had more snipers in other places. But yeah I can see Seb's point of view lol
