don't worry !! i also got the names confused when i first watched !!! but they use surnames and first names interchangeably like saturo (first name) gojo (lastname), megumi (first name) fushiguro (last name) !!!

fushiguro is a last name its a family name so megumi's name is is megumi fushiguro that guy called fushiguro also has the same last name but i wont reveal his first name because he's megumi's..... Please guys, remembering names is important in anime or else you're just gonna be confused 😭

To avoid confusion in future episodes, this is what their names are: Satoru Gojo (Satoru is his first name, Gojo is his last name, same applies to the following names), Megumi Fushiguro, Yuji Itadori , Nobara Kugisaki, Geto Suguru. You'll see their names and last names be used interchangeably since that is common in Japan. I believe the closer/ more familiar you are with someone, you'll use their first name.

Guys, we gotta start paying more attention to the dialogues😭. The Geto you are seeing here, loves humans. He thinks the duty of the strong is to protect the weak. It was mentioned in the last episode. He doesn't become a villain until later in the series and we will see what lead him to change his stance. Maybe taking a few notes could help you to remember and keep facts straight, also to remember the names as well.

You guys pay attention to dialogues when watching Weak Hero Class One (which is great!!) but not so much for JJK... The dialogues are super important, especially this season. There are a lot of details to pay attention to, as well. You won't understand heavy stuff coming this season if it's not clear in your head already.

Yeah you guys definitely need to pay attention to the conversations the last episode Gojo and Geto (bangs guy/Anikan) had a pretty eye opening conversation Geto wasn't always the way he was in season 1 he used to care about taking care of people and protecting the weak. Also Megumi as Fushiguro 🤣 don't feel too bad about missing stuff tho it took a second rewatch for me to catch so many things

I've never really understood Gojo's technique, but from what I've gathered from this episode, is that his technique is basically Mathematics. Convergent series of infinite numbers, Negative natural numbers, Divergence of Infinity, these are mathematical notions, and he applies them to real life / the space around him, which reacts to it in a certain way.

and as per tradition, its: last name/ first name. So its extra sweet that Gojo calls his students by their first name (Yuji, Nobara, Megumi, etc), and that he and Geto call each other by their first names, too.

Guys I love your reactions and I love JJK, so please please pay more attention to the dialogue. It’s tiring to see that you only watch the show but not really understand it. The show is very nuanced and it’s shown through seemingly unimportant scenes and talks between characters. Like, just from the basketball scene in EP 1 (which btw was shown in the movie, too, but just the dialogue), you’d understand that Geto loved people and believed that he and other sorcerers have to protect them. Gojo believed that people who are weak shouldn’t be protected. Literally the opposite of what they think as adults. I promise you all that emotional impact that you feel may be lacking, is actually there, it just needs you to pay a bit more attention.

Fushiguro is their last name - Megumi is his first name. Itadori’s bro. His dad was acting like he didn’t know he had a son. Also, clarification since I think you missed the convo in last ep: at this point in their high school years Geto, aka Anakin, very much believed their mission was to protect normal/weak people. He’s actually acting as a foil to Gojo’s apathy, since Gojo couldn’t care less about humans as a teen. He just saves people cause he’s told to while Geto very much believes in the mission. What we haven’t seen at this point is what happens to change these two characters’ perspectives by the time the become the adults they are in the movie. Also, no hate to you guys missing those details the first time around. That’s why it’s useful to have people share in the comments I think.

I've never liked the writing of JJK. It's hard to keep track of all these characters, names, and their abilities. They could have explained Gojo’s ability way easier, but somehow we’re talking about negative numbers. Like WTF. I don't need to watch YouTube videos to understand how this show works.

Still loving the reactions guys ^^ I do think viewers need to remember these guys are still so new to anime considering and in all fairness JJK is something that a lot of new anime viewers needed to rewatch to catch everything - I'm usually a quiet viewer that doesn't comment but wanted to say I'm still very much enjoying the jjk reactions! As long as you can still enjoy the show that's all that makes these videos fun to watch! edit: I know loads of people who are terrible with character names, it doesnt mean they aren't paying enough attention to enjoy the show

Hey, quick tip If you have trouble remembering names, you should maybe write them down on a sheet. Other reaction channels that also struggle with names do the same thing and write down the character names. btw next ep gonna be crazy

I'm talking about the story writing itself. They keep switching between first and family names, which makes it confusing. Look at Bleach for example, it has a large cast, but it's much easier to keep track of who’s who even without remembering the names. Ask any anime fan what names they remember from JJK, and most will say Gojo, Sukuna, and maybe Panda. That’s it.
