Seb's take on season 1 is so mind blowing to me. He's claiming season 1 was just a mindless death tv series yet says season 2 gave so much depth, emotion, and story. Like did he really not see all those things in season 1 as well? Or did that all just go over his head and not connect with him? I'm genuinely confused. I'd even argue they had much more of those things in season 1 than in season 2. Season 1 was much more than just people dying in the games

I think in my mind, when I watched season 2 I believed frontman was doing this to test Gi-Hun because remember the show’s message as seen in season 1, is about faith in humanity and how corrupt society is (like the old man in season 1 said) and all season frontman keeps watching Gi-Hun whenever he’s in a difficult position and even asks him if he is willing to sacrifice a few for the good of many and remember at that point thinking woah.. that’s basically frontman’s belief and the belief of old man in season 1 who ran the games too getting rid of ‘scum’ especially. So I did wonder if that’s why he entered like 1) work experience 2) to test Gi-Hun or prove Gi-Hun wrong that no matter how much you try to save people and the game you will fail because this is how humans are, because he kept smiling and watching Gi-Hun. That was my opinion when season 2 ended anyway. I have to say though it still isn’t super clear why he risked his life or how did he survive mingle etc

I think that’s also why he kept Gi-Hun arrive because he is showing him the consequences of his actions which is what he said when he killed his friend. I honestly think frontman got fixated on breaking him and playing him wrong because I did wonder why he would keep frontman alive and kill everyone else. It’s definitely personal. And it’s interesting to me more now knowing that Gi-Hun built a bond with front man

oh it’s so hard to choose! I think all had some good and some bad points. But I think season 2 had the most consistent highs! It was just so different to season 1! But season 3 had me feeling every kind of emotion so really excited for you guys!
