The baby needs to be fed every three hours , how does she survive

Martina

Hey guys! I noticed we have different opinions about the Frontman, so here’s mine. Some of you think he felt some kind of regret at the end and that’s why he gave the knife to Gi-Hun—to save the baby’s life. Personally, I don’t see it like that at all. The Frontman has never shown emotions, remorse, or regret about what he does. The only reason he hands the knife to Gi-Hun is to prove his point that humans are fundamentally corrupt, sinners, and trash, as he says. In his mind it’s something like: ‘I’ll give you the knife—if you kill them, you’re just as rotten as the rest.’ He’s testing Gi-Hun. That’s why he asks, ‘Do you still have faith in people?’ It’s basically a challenge: ‘Show me you won’t kill them this time. You'll have to do it and be trash just like them all’ I’ve NEVER thought the Frontman is trapped in this life or conflicted. He’s lost all faith in humanity, while Gi-Hun repeatedly insists he still believes in people. So the Frontman wants to prove he’s right by tempting him. If Gi-Hun kills, then in the Frontman’s view, his cynical worldview is confirmed. That’s how I’ve interpreted it!

Martina

Also, I don’t know how the ending will play out, but I don’t agree with Seb saying that Gi-Hun will kill those seven because he has no other option. I actually side with Ben on this—I don’t think he will. Why? Because he’s not as ‘trash’ as the others. Yes, he has taken a life, but it was driven by revenge for his ''friends''. He still has humanity. He has a daughter outside of the games, and above all, he still feels. He’s not thinking about the money, and that’s exactly why he won’t kill: he isn’t trash. He still has humanity, and he’ll prove that to the Frontman. Honestly, I bet even if he tried, he wouldn’t be able to take another life. That’s just how I see Gi-Hun’s character. But we’ll see what happens! I guess we’ve all interpreted these characters in different ways.

Martina

I have been tried not to spoil myself to see the ending with you guys, I honestly can't wait

Kernaisha Gaines

If this were real I wouldn’t put it past them to make the baby starve until scheduled “feeding” times .

Kernaisha Gaines

I haven’t looked at the other things you guys are reacting to (my bad) but for y’all’s sake, I hope you guys are mixing in happier shows.

Martina

I'm glad someone thinks as me ahah

The frontman knife thing is more of a test than being nice. By handing Gi‑hun the knife, the frontman forces him to confront whether he’ll abandon his principles (compassion, fairness etc) when survival and protection of others are at stake. Also it’s kind of about power Dynamic too Ultimately I think though it aligns with the frontman’s arguments and the Old Donny from season 1’s point that they are trying show that “human nature” is selfish, violent, and corruptible. Aka the vips and aka humans. By offering the knife, he’s baiting Gi‑hun to prove that even the most empathetic player will eventually resort to brutality and that everyone is greedy and not better than everyone else

Fern Edwards

It’s why he says ‘do you still have faith in people’ because he’s been trying to prove Gi Hun wrong the wholeeeee time

Fern Edwards

I think also remember at heart Gi Hun is a good guy, he has a daughter, and he came into the game to save everyone and end the games 😭😭

In my opinion, I think the higher-ups/Frontman and the VIPs are not good people and you can't only see the players as completely evil and not the Frontman, when he's the one who had the final say of whether or not to put the baby in the games in the first place.
