Yesss finallyy almost caught up now also season 3 is lit frfr 😆

AllForNothing

Now that you guys are approaching season 3 episodes 1 and 2 were released together since they came out in the movie please react to both eps at the same time 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Spartan

no one messed with Choso's mind he had false memories of yuji because it's a side effect of blood manipulation, which means Yuji and Choso are literally blood related. The brain had something to do with it. Remember we haven't even seen Yuji's mom or dad yet.

Riley McLeod

They way they showed the 5 slides at the end is the best way they could have done it. The city is destroyed, and there’s no way to really publicly release that information. Also, Gojo is the only reason Yuji was alive, Gojo hates the higher ups and would never listen to them, and he could do that because of how strong he is, so now the higher ups are trying to keep Gojo sealed since he’s the only person who could stop them

Riley McLeod

It is a Season finale (technically), but s3 starts right where s2 finished, there’s no time jumps or wars that ended, just right back in the story. You guys will love season 3 it’s fucking amazing

Riley McLeod

Also remember there animating this from a book, so they couldn’t have changed the end of the season, and there’s multiple book chapters per episode. So it’s hard to get it right for it to end on cliffhangers and season finales

Johnny

(1 of 3)Season 2’s entire production to animate all episodes was 6 months before broadcast. It was one of the worst production schedules the anime industry has ever seen. They were able to barely hang on, but because of the very talented staff they were able to pull it off. Now for season 3 as far as I know, before broadcasting, it had been in production since June 2024. 1 year and 8 months of production.

Mia_Rose

Loved this season finale, made me want more information... hyped me up for season 3 lol But i get you Seb

Johnny

(2 of 3)Season 3’s director (Gosso) is the same as season 2. Very creative and talented. He was only able to be very hands on with the first 5 episode of season 2. With season 3 it’s split into 2 parts. Part 1 is currently airing which will be 12 episodes. From reliable sources, it has been said that the director will be story boarding episodes 1-11. Currently 6 episodes have been out and it seems to be true.

1osaki

I agree with seb's take on the series finale but I will say that 1) the slides of the important messages made sense because it was a notice from headquarters and because of that I feel it built the tension as to be like omg now bc of this what will happen next season but I can see what he means by it being a little more. 2) its like the calm before the storm so I think the finale of it didn't need to be as grand especially when the season itself was already top tier so that's why I was satisfied with it.

Johnny

(3 of 3) Season 3 will maintain consistent quality and direction(the creativity from the director) now that the staff are not being handicapped by the schedule. Sorry for long thread, just passionate about the show and about the staff working on it.

CastSenpai

Two things to consider when critiquing (which is totally ok, this episode was unconventional) is that 1) this is an adaption of a manga, and people are VERY picky about changing things up when adapting into an anime. They try to stick to the source material, and generally sauce it up where they have creative liberty. You don’t want to change things too much, especially in a complex series like this. The other thing to consider is that season 2, especially the Shibuya arc, was a disaster for the animation studio as far as short time budgets and overwork. So yeah they probably could’ve improved this episode’s delivery, but it at least partially explains what we got.

Legacy

Even though you’ve just finished season 2 , I’d really recommend checking out one of those “Everything You Need to Know Before Season 3” videos. Jujutsu Kaisen is a very dense story — with a lot of overlapping cursed techniques, rules, timelines, and character connections that aren’t always obvious on a first watch. Season 2 in particular throws a huge amount of information at the you very quickly, and some important details are conveyed more through implication rather than direct dialogue. If a few of those details don’t fully click before Season 3, it can be easy to feel a bit lost, since the next arc assumes a solid understanding of the power system, character relationships, and the consequences of Season 2’s events. A recap video doesn’t spoil anything — it just helps connect the dots so the story lands more clearly and makes the experience even better going forward.

Legacy

also about the slides at the end, those are announcements from Jujutsu Headquarters. We as viewers already kind of know what’s going on, so they aren’t really meant for us — they’re announcing the situation to the entire jujutsu world, not just the school. That includes the big three families, independent sorcerers, and jujutsu groups across Japan and even outside of Japan. Think of it like an announcement from a prime minister after a major event. Also, anime is usually adapted from comics (manga) that release a chapter weekly, so abrupt endings can feel a little weird. It’s less like a traditional TV finale and more like taking a chunk of a book and adapting it into a season or movie — it’s hard to find a perfect stopping point when the story is still ongoing.

KeliTTries

I’m on both sides of the finale takes. I think the slide announcements were like an experimental way of delivering the important detail. It creates the feeling that the viewer is also very much on the outside of Jujutsu society getting important information funneled to them in crumbs. It’s also a jarring juxtaposition to how the story has been given to us thus far, which in itself sets the tone for the way things will be going forward. BUT, in Seb’s defense, as someone that watched it when it aired and waited 2 years for the next season - I totally forgot that’s how this episode went. Until watching this reaction the only part that I actually remembered was Geto and Yuki’s conversation, and then I was like “oh wait, we got all of this in the season finale?”

_mmmkae

as someone whos read the entire manga. all i can say is shit gets HYPE from here on out. so far s3 has been really good. they have amazing VAs for all the new characters and the animation is PEAK. excited to see you guys start it up soon.

Congrats

please put out ep1 annd ep2 od s3 togheder as they relesead togheder and all the other creators did so pleasee

Dreamknight942

I actually like how the slides delivered it, it felt like an official mandate and gave us crazy info in such a muted way the juxtaposition made it effective at building tension imo. Also it’s done exactly the same in the manga.

Etool Thebeetle

please watch 2 or 3 episodes each post 🙏

goosebumps

J-Lee

I am with Charlie, omg - thank you! Thanks for being always one with sense lol. Seb sometimes has "a$s takes" too. (y'all don't come at me coz he deserves it for saying that the finale was an a$s). Y'all have to remember that the Jujutsu society is not a widely-known organization. So they're not to 'announce' in the whole city those "slides". It's like some kind of just a memo delievered down from the higher ups to those who are concerned in the jujutsu community. It's like receiving an order from the office of the President. It didn't have to be super grand as you wanted the finale to be. I think Seb had forgotten about the "style" of how JJK delivers some things bcos he wasn't into JJK from the beginning. If you remember in some earlier episodes, they also just show slides that seems like just news - of the detainees in the prison, of what happened to the high schoolers in the cinema. Instances like these were not new in JJK. How it ended was just fair - it showed the aftermath of the main problem. And it would make you want to see more in the next season. Every season ender had to be a cliffhanger, but this one's in a calmer way. Anyways, I am excited for the new season. Thank you guys for this reaction. Just please remind Seb to try to be a little decent sometimes, coz yeah, it's not that cool as he thought it seems. Peace out!

J-Lee

Ah yes thanks, they definitely need to. These guys are not into much details, I mean not at all!

J-Lee

Btw, I had to put this comment here again from the prev episode, coz it seems like you haven't read it: Guyss Choso was not brainwashed, nor his memories altered by Sukuna. A past connection got triggered in him that's why he suddenly knew and saw that he's actually related and 'brothers' with Itadori. It was a supernatural ability, same with how he felt with his other two brothers.

Pluto

Those slides were from headquarters to sorcerers why would they announce it. General public don’t know any one.

Zee ☆

For me the slides made the info dump way more interesting and left me wanting answers for my questions !! cause it was so OUT OF NOWHERE and because it felt so official and serious

Zee ☆

GUYS SEASON 3 IMMEDIATELY 🙏🏻💙💙💙💙

Zee ☆

I agree but also Seb was being honest and they’re allowed to have their own opinions so let’s not force our opinions on them-

WATCH A RECAP OR ASK CHATGPT TO SUMMARIZE WITHOUT SPOILERS

Congrats

holy spoiler in beetwen lines

Jubilee

It was during that massive fire blast that Sukuna created when he was fighting the Shikigami that exploded everywhere so Inumaki's arm got caught up in it. luckily he was a few inches away so his whole body would have exploded

Jubilee

Seb what on earth are you talking about The slides themselves where announcements sent out from the JJk authorities and there was so way to publicly announce it obviously cause there is no power in the city Most of those information from the slides are already shown in the show what more do you want Not everything has to be intense and chaotic. The whole show is already chaotic

Yashu

Why are they not reading comments at all? I swear to god every time they get something wrong I try to clerify it (if it was said in the episode and they misunderstood/missed it) and they never get that info. Are they not reading stuff here coz of spoilers or something? Reactors usually dont read comments on yt but do on patreon lol

Jubilee

And also the live announcements idea won't really be effective to the show because then it seems like it's the Authorities vs Gojo and Itadori and the rest of the people they want to eliminate They might as well just kill all jjk students but that is not the point or the main focus of the Anime. It's pointing towards the direction of the main Villians here like Sukuna and Geto. Like to be honest forget what ever you think is going to happen in season 3 they tried to kill him before it didn't happen what difference will it make if they try to kill him again. Maybe I'm yapping on about but I still feel there is no point in a big display or or extra 5 minutes animation of them yapping about wanting to kill Itadori again

Jubilee

1 last thing Even if they did animate it, it would just be the higher ups looking angry and yapping about wanting to kill Itadori again which will really not have any impact to the series The point is it's not a big news and it should be so there is no need for it to be animated or dramatic

Yashu

I personally liked the slides, it was as shocking as a certain momment in Attack on Titan ( Right here?! Righ now?! ), plus as someone below said- it's nothing new for this show to deliver info this way, they did before in season 1 and the movie

Shahab Qalans

the source material of 99% of anime is manga, japanese comics, which are structured as weekly releases and come in 'arcs' the one you just watched would be the shibuya incident arc, and following this episode in the manga, the next chapter would of been released. so the source material has no structure for having specific seasons other than ending at the end of an arc.

Jubilee

I also tried explaining to them without possibible spoilers in their last video and obviously they didn't read it but hopefully they'll get it in season 3 If not that would be so ragebating

josh

seb is right i fear. from a tv stand point it couldve been executed differently but its more a source material issue. spoiler warning: s3 does continue right where s2 ends

Spartan

that's not a spoiler it's literally in an episode they watched already and choso said they were blood related, they just think he is lying because they missed what he said

Katu

guys, I'm a patreon in both of your channels and Ik how active you are commenting on the chat and the comment section of the other channel, so please try to be more active in this one as well, bc ik that there's ppl here trying to make u understand what u are watching, ik there's a few ppl being assholes, but there are others being nice and trying to explain just so you can get the real meaning of this anime, this anime is not like demon slayer nor like aot where everything is showed just as it is, Jujutsu kaisen, the manga and the anime tends to make u see things, to read between the lines and to theorize about it... so pls watch a recap of the two seasons and the movie, maybe y'all 3 can understand better what's gonna come in the third season.

J-Lee

No I wasn't forcing it on Seb, but I was asking to at least be decent, he is too much 😩

gaby

I dont comment a lot but you guys used to upload on this channel a lot more 😭 its okay if life gets busy but at least let us know the reason xx

~A

cmon dude AOT is much deeper than JJK, and you have to read between the lines to really understand it. JJK sometimes feels like it’s trying too hard to be something it’s not. The series introduces complex techniques that are difficult to understand, yet many of them don’t seem necessary for an action focused anime. Take the last episode for example, none of the reactors I watched fully understood Kirara’s technique, and the character was defeated within minutes anyway. So what’s the point of making something that complicated if it barely impacts the story? AOT is actually far more complex than JJK in terms of themes and plot, but the way information is revealed is so clever, and the direction is so strong, that the complexity feels natural and easy to follow. In contrast, JJK sometimes feels complex just for the sake of being complex, without giving that complexity real narrative weight.

Katu

sorry but where did u get that I was talking about complexity of themes in my comment?? lmao

Wet Toaster

Watch a 3 hour full jjk lore video or smn😂, still love the reactions

INFO TO CLEAR UP MISUNDERSTANDINGS : Hi i wanna explain some things. The reason why Gojo is being deemed as an accomplice is because in JJK0 Suguru geto (without forehead stitches), was supposed to be killed after being seriously injured by Yuta. Gojo DID kill suguru but didn’t have the strength to burry him. As him a Suguru super close before suguru decided to kill off all non sorcerers. Principal Yaga is being punished as well because he was their teacher for a time and was aware of gojo killing geto. or what they believe as “not killing suguru” KENJAKU took over geto’s body after geto died. that’s why the stitches are there. the geto you see is not actually him, it’s kenjaku. Yuji is being executed because as originally stated by the higher ups, sukuna istpo powerful and they were scared of what could come if yuji couldn’t control sukuna. THE PLANS: Geto’s plan was to kill all non sorcerers because of what happened with TOJI/GOJO/ and the girl (forgot her name). Non sorcerers are the reason why curses exist in the first place. Geto wanted to make it safe for jujutsu sorcerers to live. As you can see regular humans cannot see nor do they understand curses. So when there’s someone who can see curses and crazy things start happening— they (regular humans) blame those who can see those curses. KENJAKU (with stitches) he wants to create a world of chaos between EVERYONE, not just sorcerers. he believes the true development will come once there is a chaos beyond his control. Knowing this, he understands that he cannot create such chaos if GOJO is there. Which is why Gojo was sealed

Scrawnyboi

Hey dudes just a quick tip, maybe hook up a super cheap keyboard so you can easily pause and skip forward and backward using the arrow keys, it could be easier on you for all your reactions. Thank you so much for the videos guys!

komispo

lmaoooo seb becoming part of the jjk fans who hate calm eps and reading,,, but about making a lasting impact, the manga had already been out and the plotline way ahead of where season 2 ended. with shows like these that have already built reputation and huge fanbase via the manga and anime, they can rely a bit less on hype and overt attention grabbing. everyone was already excited asf for season 3 bc we mostly all knew the next arc would be crazy.

bob

sukuna is isnt such a bad guy imo

Etain

i totally agree with Ben about the ending of the season finale. To further dial in on the final scenes, kind of make it less impactful. Just those short clips, would immediately grip you. But to do a full scene on those statements, it might have been cool but would have been as less shocking. Here they're like bam! wam! Also ya'll were shocked to your core when you guys read that, so it had enough flair to induce that reaction
