Geto wasn't just bad. Like the video says, he kept Gojo in check and enforced that sourcerers should protect the weak. After Riko was shot and the cult was clapping at her death, he questioned if the weak people him and his best friend had literally died to protect were worth it. To prevent any more of his friends from dying and solving the problem in the quickest way, he decided to do the "necessary evil" after talking with Yuki. So, yes he was bad but he was not just a cannonically evil character.

Congrats

well the guy in getos body is a sorcerer and so is the ice girl and special grades are special grades bc they can take over a country there are multiple people who are on special grade level but cant take over a country.

Little detail: Yuki was Todo's master, not only teaching him the "what girl is your type" line but almost everything he knows

Proud of you guys 👍🏾 We're gonna have so much fun together this season. Can't wait for you to meet the Kinji. Absolute Rockstar.

I really appreciate you guys taking the time to watch a recap!! It's gonna be really helpful for the upcoming season and def makes it more fun to watch when you know everything that's going on 😅

Katu

Thank you guys! glad to know you took our suggestion to watch a recap, this is really good bc now you can understand better the power system and the relationships between the characters, like the whole thing about gojo and yuta being related, Megumi being raised by Gojo, what characters are part of the zenin clan (Toji, Megumi, Maki and Mai) and Choso and Yuji being brothers.

Little detail, cursed energy manipulation is super important to strength, so sorcerer`s like the one inhabiting Geto`s body, Gojo Satoru, Sukuna and Uraume are just stronger than everyone else mainly due to their understanding of cursed energy and their efficiency when manipulating it. Black flash is a guaranteed power up when landed, once a sorcerer pulls off RCT or Something like domain for the first time it has a similar effect to black flash by putting them in the zone and bettering their understanding of cursed energy. Then we have Heavenly Pacts, The easiest way to put it is that Jujutsu Sorcery is a give and take power system, if you give away something you gain something and if you gain something you give something away. Examples: Gojo has immense strength but he is alone at the top, when he became even stronger by gaining RCT he lost his best friend. Toji is born with no cursed energy but has insane physical prowess. Sukuna decreases the range of his domain, now his sure hit hits harder. and many more examples. There is also curses not cursed spirits curses two different things, for example mahito is a cursed spirit, Sukuna is a curse (meaning he is a sorcerer but is seen as curse to the world). Words matter a lot in jjk you can literally curse someone by accident, for example Yuji`s grandpa curses Yuji at the beginning of the show. Yuta Curses Rika`s soul when she died. Last detail: Gojo told Megumi in a flash back that a six eyes limitless user and a 10 shadows user fought in the past and both died then Megumi summons Mahoraga (the strongest 10 Shadows Shikigami) the clan head must of done the same thing back then against the Limitless user, there is no way I could actually be as strong as Sensei, Which means that Mahoraga was summoned and they killed both the 10 shadows user and the limitless user that gojo mentioned

Thank y’all so much for watching the recap! Season 3 will be so much more enjoyable right after having a refresher on everything that’s happened so far 😊

One little thing he got wrong- Gojo didnt kill 1k transfigured humans in 2/10 of a second, he's domain lasted 2/10 of a second and it was so much information that it paralyzed everyone, and while they were paralyzed he killed 1k transfugured humans and it took him 299 seconds to do so

For some facts you might not remember, lets see- there is 9 Death Painting's, Choso is 1 of them, Itadori and Kugisaki killed 2 of them so there is still 6 of Choso's and Itadori's ''brother's'' in Jujutsu High vault, in a form of Cursed Objects (meaning they are like in a coma until they get a host to live in). In the world there are 4 registered Special Grade Humans and 16 registered Special Grade curses (that's what Geto said in the movie). Yuki didn't just teach Todo how to make friends, she was his mentor, she taught him everything he knows, which explain's why he's so powerful and knows so much about Cursed Energy- he was trained by a Special Grade

Hmm... a fun little fact/detail that isn't a spoiler, but not mentioned in the anime~ You know Rika, Yuta's super sweet devoted lovely little girlfriend whom he cursed? In the manga, she's kinda sus. The hospital where they meet, Yuta is there bc he was sick, but Rika was there bc she was in an "accident". She had been out hiking w her father, but they had an accident and her father died. And her mother was already dead before that. Apparently her grandmother, is convinced she had something to do w both her mothers and her fathers' deaths. And, the ring she gives Yuta, is her dead mothers' wedding ring :P Strange little girl haha. Adds a bit to the lore~

Yuji and Choso are literal blood brothers, a byproduct of choso’s cursed technique blood manipulation is he can sense any blood related changes to his brothers. Death is the biggest and final change for a person, when Yuji killed Choso’s brother season 1 he felt that change immediately. When he beats Yuji so bad he almost kills him, he feels that same change in Yuji, meaning he’s his blood related younger brother! In season 2 near the finale Choso realizes if the Sorcerer who is inside Geto’s body was once inside Kamo Noritoshi’s body (Choso’s Dad who created the 9 abortion cursed womb paintings) then that must mean it’s possible for that same person to have hopped into the body that was one of Yuji’s parents at some point. All this information was revealed in episode 22 of season 2

One writing thing I found really cool in the hidden inventory arc was geto and gojo both received something from toji. Gojo received megumi (megumi means blessing in japanese) so gojo received tojis blessing and geto received tojis curse (worm thing)

I don't think this recap was too useful to be honest just because it didn't really go into any important details and it even got some bits wrong.

Legacy

little detail / anime production fact : anime isn’t made like regular TV, and studios usually don’t write an original script from scratch (unless it’s anime-original). Most anime is adapted from manga (comics) or novels that release weekly, and studios stay very close to the source material because those comics already have big fanbases — changing too much usually leads to backlash. So when you were talking about the Season 2 finale of Jujutsu Kaisen not really feeling like a finale, or wondering if there’ll be a Season 4, they aren’t writing this as they go. JJK is already completed in the comic, and the anime is following it closely. Animation takes much longer than drawing, so while anime-only viewers wait years between seasons, comic readers only waited a week after Season 2 ended and kept going. AOT was adapted from 139 comic chapters, and JJK’s anime so far (Seasons 1 & 2 plus the movie) has covered about 137 chapters. Season 2 had a lot of production pressure, and the team was very overworked, which affected pacing and art consistency at times. Things feel more polished now because they had more time, and because the series director stays closely involved — even though different episodes can have different directors, the series director helps keep everything cohesive.
