Crunchyroll released a short 3-minute video on youtube explaining the next episode, since it can be a little confusing on a first watch. It helps simplify things, so it’s worth checking out after watching Episode 3. Sometimes there’s important text on screen at the same time as dialogue, so don’t hesitate to pause and read — just like you did with the Culling Game rules. It really helps.

Lol you guys are missing the clues, choso’s dad had a stitches on his head because his body was taken over by something else. ( remember Geto) Choso was conceived during this time In the flash back when Yuji was “dead” his mom also had some sort of stitching on her head. Yuji was conceived during that time. Choso feels the verge of death/ death of all his “Half” brothers (the half is silent💀) He sensed Yuji dying while he almost killed him Connect the rest… I’ve been waiting on yall to gather everything but idk I’m pointing out the major hints / small confirmations 😭😭

Keep in mind the stitches on the head of Noritoshi Kamo/“Fake Geto” and Yuji’s mother from his dream/flashback with his grandpa and dad. Also, the rules for the Culling Game are definitely something to pay attention to and make sure that they’re understood for the rest of the season. Next episode is really a dive into who Tengen is, what the rules of the Culling Game are and what they look like, and understanding Yuji and the crew’s roles and places in the game. It’s pretty abstract from this episode, but everyone in the crew with Yuji, Maki, Megumi, etc. will all be playing, not just the non-sorcerers who were marked (though they are brought in as well). They also will talk about what stripping one’s technique actually means.

It’s fun watching your guy’s reactions but sometimes you guys miss all the info you just watched. Choso said before they went to tengen that he can sense his brother’s remains and that can lead them to the right door for tengen. Then when choso says he’ll come back for his brother’s you guys ask what can he sense in there? Like he just said it 30 seconds before lol You also asked what they want from tengen. Megumi stated what they were going to ask tengen when he showed up with yuji and yuta. #1 how do they unseal gojo from the prison realm. #2 how do they end the culling games. Hopefully this helps and your coming up to the best ep of the season so far and possibly for anime fight of the year imo

Love seeing y'all get into season 3! Notepads out and attention to the max for next episode though—it's an information DUMP but crucial to understanding where the story is going next!

I wonder if it'll be another movie aswell? I haven't read the manga so idk if that makes sense but I heard a few things and kinda expect another movie

The next ep is the equivalent of a PowerPoint presentation with dialogue and heeeeaaaaavvvvy with lore. It’s needed if a little boring in practice, 2 episodes next week maybe? 😅😄

Just want to mention, the pact that sukuna made with yuji the first time he died, was that when sukuna chants "enchain" he gets control for one minute, this has not happened yet, the other times sukuna gained control were because yuji LOST control, due to taking too much damage at the detention center and consuming 10 fingers being force fed by jogo

Personally I dont think so, people said that the week to week drops were hype for the Manga and it would be for the anime but that doesn't make any sense. The anime fits multiple chapters into an episode so we wouldn't get the same week to week chapter cliffhanger effect like in the Manga, I think a movie would be the best option

We saw Itadori's parents in that Flashback , his mom got stitches on forehead just like Geto, so Kenjaku is his parent just like for Choso, making them half brothers

Idk if you guys remember in episode 1 of season 3, but Choso was telling Yuji to remember if Yuji's dad had stitches on his forehead (brain-kun) because it would explain why they're both half-brothers related by blood, but in this episode, after Yuji 'died', he had a flashback to when he was a baby, and remembered that it wasn't his father who had stiches (the guy with pink hair and glasses) but his mother Kaori who had stiches (the lady who walked in with the black hair and healed stiches) meaning that brain-kun inhabitied Yuji's mum's body for a while, meaning that brain-kun gave birth to Yuji......
