Its not a dream guys..they were all in the same vicinity of the explosion and all their hearts stopped for 1 min and they were in the borderlands btwn life and death and they were all fighting to come back to life. Whoever died in the game died in real life and who didn't choose permanent residency came back to life .

It's not a shared dream, It was a shared purgatory experience, slight difference. The meteor event is what links them together, when their hearts stopped they all entered the borderland, some peoples hearts stopped a few seconds before Arisu, that's why there were loads of people in the games before him and stuff like the beach had been established. Arisu was in the borderland for about 1 month, based on that the 1 second heart stop equals about 1 month borderland time. It's not explained in the show, but at the end of the manga it is made clear that a higher supernatural power, akin to the Grim Reaper or Charon, put them there as a way for them to decide if they really wanted to fight for their life.

I think it’s more that your heart stops you are in ‘the waiting room’ so to speak. That everyone enters this kind of ‘plane’ like you said. I think someone else explained that people may arrive at different times yeah. I’m unsure if the ones who said in the land just have hearts stopped for longer OR they are in comas in real life But buckle up season 3 is great! I don’t think it was ever confirmed they’d make a season 4 and it got cancelled. They never said anything. I think the really consensus was that as there isn’t any plans we assume it was the last season, rather than ‘there were plans then it was cancelled’

Season 4 wasn't discontinued. There is no season 4 bcz season three wraps up the story, and you will get all your answers, so no worries.

I see how mind twisting it is, I wish you could watch kdrama Mouse, so twisted, I was suspecting everyone, at the end I suspected myself 😂

I Felt like the author was rushed to finish the Manga, they had a great idea, but a lot of writers can get stucked at the end of the story and get pressured by readers to finish it, so I guess the author should've taken their time and explanation of the whole show could be more bearable

The games are real and so is the meteor. The show basically has a very cool take on what happens when people go into a state between life and death. Basically they all went into cardiac arrest and fought for their lives to come back. Those who survived the games actually managed to wake up and live, those who died in the games died in reality too. And also all their injuries they suffered from the meteorite reflect what they suffered in the games. It also explains why they were able to survive such crazy injuries because all of that was a subconscious purgatory they all collectively shared, it wasnt part of physical reality. It also gives a take on how people who have near death experiences often make huge changes in their lives, like chishiya here wakes up and has a new perspective on life but since he doesnt remember the borderlands, he cant really explain why, other than a near death experience causing this change in him

I thought this ending was perfect and tied everything together. And if you watch back knowing the ending, everything that seems unexplainable suddenly makes perfect sense. It is also the official ending of the manga. S3 is just netflix milking the series and not reallt worth the watch imo

I'M NOT GIVING SPOILERS!!! so I have watched season 3 and I can tell you that it is definitely fantasy genre. if you think of it as a fantasy genre it makes a lot more sense that their minds were all in a different space and time

Be careful with AOT spoilers in your introduction, some viewers may have never watched AOT, plan on doing so and will watch your Alice in Borderland reaction... That's not my case, but gosh, I'd be soooo mad if the ending of AOT were spoiled to me in the introduction of a reaction to Alice in Borderland haha

Let's not normalize spoilers just because a show is over or because they are "everywhere" : they are specifically everywhere because people think it's okay to give away spoilers like in the beginning of this video (and also because people think that everyone watched the show when, obviously, that's not the case). I'm telling you : I'd be reallllllllly pissed if I had watched this video and gotten the ending of AOT spoiled. Like, reallyyyyyyy pissed. That's actually the reason why I don't even listen to discussions anymore xD except for Semblance of Sanity's discussions, which I always find amazing and very deep, without any spoilers.

Damn, I feel you, Connor... Hopefully you didn't catch anything of what they said, and even if you did, since you didn't have any context, you can still continue watching it and enjoy the show. But yeah, that sucks... (Also, don't worry, that's not the ending; I know this can be considered as a hint/spoiler but I don't want you to feel like you got the ending spoiled; you know Triple Take, they watch so many shows and sometimes forget things haha). I wish reactors were a little bit more careful about spoilers of other shows, they are not the only ones to do that and it's not even on purpose, but that still sucks... I would advise them to put a disclaimer or something.

All the people we were like "how are they still live" even after all the obvious deaths, I think is because in thereal world, they are still alive, in a coma but alive and not dead so no matter how many times they die in the game, they come back alive or are so badly injured that they should have died but didn't.
