Keep in mind the swordsman in the flashback that we saw cannot be a demon because he was sitting out on the patio in full sunlight/daylight which a demon would not be able to do.

Don't you remember Muzan said once the only person who almost killed him was the one with tanjiros earrings, we saw these memories from other demons. I hope you remember it. My question is so why didn't he kill Muzan after all and became demon (named Kokushibo aka upper one). How did Muzan convince him to become a demon if he intended to kill him.

It's not tanjiros dad. Tanjiro definitely saw his dad pass away from disease and buried him along with his family.
