Denji is my sonnnn lol he deserves so much....and Aki basically says something similar towards the end. Like he may be annoying af but he's got guts and is resilient. Denji is a kid, who's lived unconventionally for all his life, killing and owing people for exisitng - this is the first time he's in an environment were he can breathe a little and will have moments to grow as a person, which you'll see as the series progresses. He will grow on you more!
