niko

PEAAK

gaby

why would you skip the opening song 😭😭😭

jogi

loved the reaction—lowkey disappointed that they skipped the intro when it's just continuing into the movie 😭 i was hoping that they recognize reze was actually singing in russian during the rain scene on the rooftop too

Ren

FINALLYYYY but also who the heck skips an intro to a movie 😭😭😭

Ren

Also the movie actually came out october 2025

Timi

Seb's journey from hater to lover of Chainsaw Man has been incredible to watch. He's gone from visible distaste to rating the movie a 10/10 and being sad that it ended. U love to see it. Chainsaw Man is just different gravy.

d ⁷

PLEASE WATCH SILENT VOICE MOVIE!!!! or your name

d ⁷

i believe reze liked denji

Monica

THISSSSS

gaby

Yessss your name & silent voice is peak

Shiffer

extra video for content and also they dont know that movie openings are different from normal anime openings xD

Shiffer

Its such a shame cus they will probably gonna enjoy it less by watching it separatly

sud.00

They forgot the song 😭😭😭

Ren

wait bro mentioned the thing on her neck 13 mins in. he’s quick with it lol

Jay

Animated by Mappa that does JJK and the later seasons of Attack on Titan

Medusue

THANK YOU GUYS

Sia

As someone whose favourite character is Angel, I’d love to hear your guys’ opinion about the Aki and Angel storyline - feel like that was one of the two main narratives of this movie and the parallelism between a few of the Denji & Reze scenes and Aki & Angel scenes was quite obvious.

Sia

I’m shocked at how quickly Charlie picked up on Reze being a devil!!

Cristian Bengasi

is right that she got killed from a rational POV, but you can empathize because denji and her are two sides of the same coin, they are forced to do that, and born in this world, they don't do it from selfish reason, and being born with this soldier mindset, you don't feel about human life as long you do your mission, like denji trew the car in season 1 with a person in it (so is the same), looking from humanity good POV they deserve to die because are to far gone, but considering their past life lacking of love, you can't help but want for them a second chance in life

lomoko

Reze came back to run away with Denji and that's how she got caught, otherwise she was on the train out of there. She and Denji are both victims of circumstance in similar ways which makes them kind of like foils. The main difference is that for Reze, the government is the enemy and for Denji, the government is his safety

lomoko

We shouldn't be rooting for Denji and Makima being together for three huge reasons: the age difference (Denji is only 16 😭), the power imbalance (Makima is his boss and threatened to kill Denji if he ever leaves the job), and because she is clearly manipulating him for her own goals

Digidoll

Someone said it before but for an anime movie alone u guys should DEFINITELY watch silent voice!!!!!

Dreamknight942

Such a peak film, please watch the opening. I love the line “I haven’t been to school either” shows she’s just a damaged girl brought into the world of devils like denji

bob

klear

??? why would you want to go out of ur way to say slurs to them?? joke or not. if ur to the point of wanting to insult them unsubscribe and spend ur money elsewhere

bob

I’m jk I love them just giving them shit

DGB

YESS they should watch both !!

Nash

such a good movie !! aki and angel make me emo 😔

Sorlem

Fun fact, Beam (the Shark Fiend) and Tanjiro have the same voice actor.

Sorlem

If you don’t mind long movies Infinity Castle is also absolutely incredible. It’s a very long movie but every second of it is worth it. I really hope you guys react to it!

Shahab Qalans

why did you skip the movie's intro omg

Romeo_is_alone

they didnt forget they decided to save it for a separate video

Angel Chatfield

i'm someone who doesn't know how to swim despite going to an aquatic centre for swimming lessons during school as a kid. Just never learned, was always too scared so I couldn't even float, I'm almost 30 & still can't swim. Even now if I was to do what Charlie said, I would probably just drown rather than figuring it out if in a body of water (I'm 4'10 so my height does not help with going in even swimming pools or centres where they have shallow ends). I also was born in and still live in Australia so i am screwed if there is one day a tsunami or something since i'm close to the water.

TripleTake

ok we will get onto this once we have time!

Angel Chatfield

Season 2 for Chainsaw Man has been announced, rumoured to be 2027 it comes out.

Leah

As an anime only , it still freaks me out that makima knew about the country mouse conversation between denji and reze.

gaby

ben please react to the songs from this movie (iris out and jane doe)

Yashu

I guess it's kinda hard for native english speaker's who are watching anime in japanese (when they dont speak japanese) to pick up on the fackt that she's suddenly singing in russian. I dont speak Russian but im from a slavic country, so i could vaguely understand a few words, which caught me off guard

jogi

i know i get that but i can atleast differentiate the accents so that's how i knew it was definitely a different language

gaby

lol painfully unfunny

wes

the fox devil said it hate that taste because it remember the time it tried to eat katana man at episode 8 and got cut in half so it left because it didn't want to experience that again

Zee ☆

I never saw them not want a character to be killed 😭😭Reze just has that effect

Zee ☆

Anime movies are immaculate!! Definitely gotta watch silent voice

Zee ☆

Y’all can’t forget About the AOT ending movie , just as good if not better imo

zarita

Both my parents can't swim. They're from Romania and apparently it's pretty common for folks from their generation to not be able to swim. I learned how to swim at the age of seven maybe eight? My cousins taught me - threw me in the river. I grew up pretty poor and access to swimming pools wasn't the norm for my family. It's difficult to learn swimming - you go down a lot. Doesn't come natural. I remember them telling me yo just paddle my feet and arms. Like a dog lol. Took some time until I learned swimming!

SecondCityKyle

Reze is one of my favorite female characters Unfortunately Fujimoto the author is an emotional terrorist who wanted to “create the feeling of meeting someone on a vacation or trip and you fall madly in love with them and then never see them again and you look back at it and it still haunts you that you missed out on something special ” even if your current life is still as best as you think it could be the memory still lingers from time to time

Dylan Pomeroy

Toradora is the best rom com anime I can think of. Love is war is great too, would be the best but its rly more focused in on the comedy so. Kinda scared to see what yall would think of the more slice of lifey side of anime though with no action

eun플리

From her Russian singing I could understand like 2 words 🤣 I'm fluent in Russian

eun플리

Hated the girl from toradora, couldn't watch this show

eun플리

Makima manipulating Denji since ep 1😆 it's obvious

David James

which is silly because its showing them going to public safety as part of the narrative. Its not an episodic intro

Moshi

I dont like how they skpped the intro for this and the outro for the last episode, it was showing the next scenes.

Moshi

My favorite movie, and it breaks my heart like so damn much

philliydogg Webber

fun fact the creator of the manga has said killing reze off was one of his biggest mistakes also seb going from the guy who hates the show to the only one to grasp some of the themes is crazy

Lazy Lenni

01:28:08 Easter Egg! The lights from the building in the background are making a countdown for the final battle, if you look closely.

Lazy Lenni

I paid, just to watch this movie on Patreon. worth every cent!

Nancy Highfield

Without spoiling, here are some details you might have missed: 1) Reze was holding her neck when she entered the phone booth because she was about to ambush Denji there. 2) At the pool scene, they showed a spider web several times, this was a metaphor of Reze’s trap for Denji. A lot of people speculate however that the roles were reversed and Reze ended up as the butterfly. 3) From that last point, when Reze kills the assassin she sings a russian song. During that montage, we see Makima in her office with a coffee cup which she actually swills in tune with the song, implying that she was listening to everything and was perfectly aware of Reze’s identity from the beginning. 4) Makima only stepped in at the end because Denji would actually have left. 5) When the Angel is standing on the roof at the end with his spear, the sun appears in two beams of light behind him like a pair of eyes. In the first season and in this film we learned that both Power and the Angel were caught by Makima, and Beam promised Makima that he wouldn’t tell about how he knew that Reze was the Gun devil’s ally. Makima knows more than she lets on… 6) Finally, the anime follows the comics to a T. Practically every image is just a moving version of what the author originally drew, and the story is actually full of metaphor and quite thoughtful below its facade of “Denji likes boobs”. I hope you guys can treat it like a treasure hunt and spot these next time! He also puts the odd meme in there…

Swat777

Please watch cyberpunk edgerunners, it's on the level of this movie, the writing, the animation everything trust

eanna mcnamara

You guys should definitely considering watching the "Look Back" movie, also from Tatsuki Fujimoto. It's an hour long short story with a totally different vibe to chainsawman, and sealed to me that he might be the greatest manga author of this generation.
