Btw, they're not facing Date Tech first, they're gonna fight them if they win their first match - given that Date Tech wins theirs too. They'd be the ones moving on to the next bracket. The first team they'll fight against is the team where Daichi's middle school friend is.

See guys, this is why this anime is just a feel good vibe one. It's not that it's slow-paced bcos they're dragging it too long, but bcos they're trying to instill that feeling to us, the viewers, of getting attached to the characters personalities. We see how they grow and develop, that's why we'd get the devotion that they have for their teams and for volleyball. So you know, when we watch them play, we'd also get there all out! We'll get excited and emotional every time. It's better that way, than just match, play, win, lose - what's good in watching all that when you don't appreciate the personalities of each character? Even Ben had recognized like that scene from when Hinata met Kageyama the first time felt like it was "so long ago". And like here they are now. It's all worth the watch and the patience, I'm telling you guysss 🥰💜
