Light is quite LITERALLY an evil mastermind!!🤯🤯

Kira🤪

I’m so glad you guys watched the next ep straight after this one. Keeps the momentum up. I’m so jealous that you guys are watching this for the first time. 😭😭

Kira🤪

This show stimulates my brain so well. Can’t wait for the next ep!! 💜

Hannah

I need the next ep too please 😭🙏

Amazing episode! Also keep in mind, although Misa made the eye deal twice, she already had an unnaturally long lifespan because of the shinigami who sacrificed himself for her.

All according to Keikaku (Translators Note : Keikaku means plan)

Haha, evil Light is back and more of a psychopath than ever. There are quite a few reasons he switched notebooks, when you finish the show you can search online for the full list. I remember he wanted Rem to be the shinigami attached because she would be willing to help for Misa's sake whereas Ryuk wouldn't GAF. Also that he wanted Rem to have the original notebook because that one's in English (if you look at the covers of the Death Notes you can see Misa's is in Japanese) so whoever Rem chose to give the notebook to should be able to understand it. Also, I think you're right in regards to it being so that he has all the memories associated with the death note, he had to own both at least briefly so that he'd get those memories back. And if Misa was collecting one of the notebooks and getting her memories back that way, it would need to be her original one. I think there were a couple more reasons too, at least...

Haha Light really came back with a whole master plan 😭 The part about choosing Rem because she'd care about Misa while Ryuk wouldn't is especially interesting. And yea getting his memories back definitely feels like a big part of the notebook switch. He's honestly terrifying when you think about how carefully he planned everything.

Martina

Yessss ofc🥹
