@nko_arts Izta reveal! (Patreon)

Relic creates a universe where any piece of folklore, urban legend, or wild tale can take a little life. In working with several incredible Mexican artists and friends requesting, I dug into a legend that felt like it could fit in Relic. The legend of the star-crossed lovers Popo and Izta. I'm planning a one-shot comic where we find out there's a lot going on in the Relic universe and this couple typically keeps Mexico safe from evil. When evil finally gets the better of igneous rock Popo and drags him away, the fiery lava-form Izta seeks out a legendary librarian for help. Sophie has to reunite the couple before this well-meaning hot-head burns down the town!
