Hey everyone! This is Nick, Hells #1 Demon Editor. (Or just Hell's average Editor because of this...)

Just over year ago, when I started on the podcast, my first task was to make all the past episodes of Why We're Going to Hell uniform. This required re-exporting and I used presets I got from Chris.

What I didn't realise, while editing all the new content, was that those settings made the sound export in mono instead of stereo. Now this isn't the worst screw up, but it means you guys haven't been getting the full, Hellish experience!

Sound effects I've created should move around with our hosts and guests. I.e. The door always opens and closes on "stage right" in your speakers or headphones.

It wasn't until I got a note from Blaine about the Guy Fawkes episode, that I noticed an effect was not "moving" around (it's when Clayton and Chris take a side bar).

This made me realise that a lot of the subtle SFX jokes and things I did, to make the world more immersive, (meeting Gambo at the Zoo for instance) haven't been delivered to you, in the way I intended and the way you deserve.

With that in mind, I am going to slowly start replacing the last year's worth of podcasts, with ones in the correct format.

Until then, please enjoy this version of Speed Bump Joe ... in the ridiculous way it was intended to sound.

I miss the Pterodactyl in the background 😭

Looks like we need an episode where Clayton decides on the punishment(s) for this dastardly deed.

Nick? Like the monkey guy?

Shiro Oakheart

They should have you and the other Nick in the background laughing as a pack of pterodactyls, or platoon. 🤣

For what it's worth I'm sure there are some like me who never noticed due to not listening with headphones(I listen exclusively just through my phone's speaker) that be said, so much respect for owning up to the mistake and putting in the work to fix it! Keep up the amazing work!
