The way Keith and Cliff already had the poster with the exact line Lamb said prepared 😂 I guess Lamb is easily predictable. In one of the earlier episodes you commented that you didn't think Logan knew who Hannah's father was when he first talked to her. I was worried it could potentially be a bit spoilery if I mentioned it before, but to me it always seemed like he knew all along and initially approached Hannah because of it but then ended up actually liking her as he got to know her. When we first see Hannah's father it's a twist for the viewers but Logan doesn't seem surprised at all, he just smiles at him. It's sad, because I could see Logan and Hannah working well together if they met under different circumstances as they had a lot of sweet moments together but in this situation they sadly felt doomed from the start.

Michael Cera (Dean) AND Alia Shawkat (Stacy)... an Arrested Development reunion 🥰 Fuckin' Hearst (first mentioned in 'One Angry Veronica'). I don't have a kind word to say about that establishment. So, I'll leave it at that 😒 It's been a rough month for me (what with the broken femur and all), so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that it wiped my memory of Troy's (Aaron Ashmore) return. But it's still funny that I went from knowing last season wasn't truly goodbye, to then being genuinely surprised to see him here 😂 Cliff Shenanigans 😜 I am VERY curious to see what you will make of the Bus Crash Case reveal... especially compared to the Lilly Murder Case. So many more moving parts to the case this season, because not everything that happened in S1 was wrapped up (the obvious one, right now... at least, is Aaron Echolls). And because we have all these new players... like Terrence and the Fitzpatricks (and others, that you've already met or are yet to meet) 😉

The title of the episode is a play on the title of the novel and film The Grapes of Wrath. The Rapes of Graff because Troy VanderGRAFF. And there's Stacy being wrath full about wanting Troy punished. So, it all fits together on numerous levels. And the Pi Sig Troy confronts at the party saying "initiative" with such emphasis. Maybe I'm reaching, but he says it at a college party and Buffy discovers "The Initiative" once she goes to college. Or, maybe it's just another in a long line of Buffy references throughout this series.

Under the brooding & arrogant surface, Logan has a conscience (and a hero complex)... so it's no wonder he felt guilty about using Hannah to get to her dad. And Hannah is wholesome and genuinely liked him... so that's appealing. In the circles that Logan and Veronica inhabit though... poor girl was out of her depths. Logan & Veronica work so well because their masked damage & complexies suit each other.
