Oof. Some poor research terms in this one. 'Minister of Parliament' isn't a thing - 'government minister' would have been more accurate. And the subtitle captions that as 'MP' which is 'member of parliament'. - One of the main reasons why I didn't vote in favour of the winter fuel allowance cut at last year's party conference is the potential for the government to be viewed as arseholes. I have one commandment in life: don't be an asshole; and when you make decisions that make people's lives harder, that's all too easy a commandment to break if you're not careful. - Those kind of decisions understandably engender resentment, and in the words of Tony Stark, 'resentment is corrosive'. Corrosive to democracy and representatives, corrosive to public service, and corrosive to security and health. (Plus it makes it more likely someone like Farage will exploit it to become PM.) Better for governments to make decisions that aren't so easily resentable.

Yes... Amanda Pays reprised her role as Dr. Tina McGee in Arrowverse's Flash. As she & John Wesley Shipp were the stars of the '90s tv Flash. Mark Sheppard was so young here... it's like his 2nd or 3rd role ever. There was a time in the 2000s when he was recurring in 4 shows that I was watching.
