I completely forgot that Armie Hammer was in VM (Larry The Artist is lucky this was before the cannibal allegations) 😂 We also have Ed Begley Jr as O'Dell (who is delightful in everything he's in), Ryan Devlin as Mercer (who ended up in every Rob Thomas production) and Lindsey McKeon as Trish (Reaper Tessa from Supernatural) 😊 No Mac, but we got a mention of Madison (it's a pattern) 😞 Piz is officially "on air" at Hearst 📻 TOASTERS 📸 A LOT of this season will just be me saying "Huh, I forgot this happened" or "Huh, this is happening sooner". It's a side effect of this being my least favourite era of VM. Like, I remembered Eli became the Hearst Janitor. And while I appreciate that we still have Francis (I adore him); it always felt like they wanted to keep him around but didn't have a valid reason to do so. And it's made even worse by the part that I forgot; Eli being REALLY adept at the P.I. business (given his character arc going forward, it feels so bizarre that they didn't stick with that) 🕵 And of course, if LoVe is together... trouble isn't far away. In this case, V's deep seated trust issues. She came very close to crossing some important boundaries. But at least the episode ended on a LoVe kiss (and earlier on we got more of Jason delicately putting KBell's hair behind her ear) 🥹

I wish Weevil's job as Keith's assistant would have lasted longer. Keith and Weevil are such a fun duo, it would've been so great to see them as a duo solving cases together. It was still nice to see how Veronica was able to get him the job at Hearst though. I'm not the biggest fun of Veronica and Logan's issues this episode but the ending scene was a really sweet one.
